Unfortunately it was my company who was in charge of the hair and makeup for this production, after it wrapped and ,in keeping with the middle age theme of the movie, the artist was drawn and quartered at our holiday party infront of the entire staff. Since we are obviously the cheapest hair and makeup company in Hollywood im pretty sure we will still get work (as u can see there is no small number of productions looking to cut corners) but it HAS been a trying time ever since the little girl's parents sued us for making their daughter look like a wax figure of an aborigines with a horsehair wig. We will be ok tho and appreciate ur candor.

It is possible that POCs could have been in Britain during its occupation by the Roman Empire since they recruited from every territory they visited, and by the 14th Century, trade and warfare viz. the Crusades would also acclimatise Europeans in general to the presence of sub-Saharan Africans.

Well it was somewhat equivalent in terms of social status, however the requirements and responsibilities of each title are quite different. (IE Horsemanship, skill of arms, collecting taxes, management of holdings, etc...)

Women couldn’t be knights or samurai due to the main part of the role being that of physical combat at the time the title actually mattered. Today women can be knighted but that isn’t the same as being a knight from the 11th century. There were roles they could have that held similar rules but no, women could not be knights during the time of actual knights and the code of chivalry. It’s similar to how a woman can follow bushido but is not a samurai, a women could be in a samurai clan, her sons could be samurai by birth but she was not samurai, there is a totally different version for women. The reason for all of this is that women were not and have never historically been warriors or the warrior class. This is due to biology of men and women.

Not to mention the movie would likely be absolutely impossible. He would have lost his mind seeing how things had changed, suddenly being nowhere he recognizes, surrounded by things that seem impossible, things that to him would seem like magic. It'd be like being gas lighted, to be thrust into a world you don't understand, and to have everyone treat YOU like you're the insane one. And granted, yes, I think that'd have made a far better movie. I suppose they could have used a time skip to show he had time to acclimate, and the old lady could have given him more than a few days. Shit, she threw him forward in time skipping a sarcastically small number of Christmases so he could finish his quest in time for Christmas, and she only gives him a few days? Should have dropped him off on December 26th and given him a solid year to figure out what was going on first, that'd have been easier to suspend disbelief toward. Or better yet, no stupid Christmas time limit and just make it so it just so happens that's around the time that he figures out what he needs to do. What in the world is with time travel movies acting like the day and time you travel forward or back has to be the same and the only change is the year. Absolutely stupid, but it is what it is.

My question is how can a High school teacher afford a vacation cottage & a house?

Wouldn't the Knight be shocked at what is around him because of all the inventions that happened after his original time. Another thing: wouldn't the Knight cause in a sense the plague before the actual plague due to the new germs and diseases from the current day that people during his time had not yet even seen nor experienced.
