Hey I thought mentioned it in the reaction but long story short, I broke my laptop and couldn’t film so I watched it on my own due to pure impatience but most people hated that episode so I was like it’s no point of my filming a commentary lol
What I really enjoy about HOD series is that each dragon 🐉 has their own personality. Ulf which is the second guy that got the girl dragon, his biology grandmother used to be the previous rider. Which may be why, she sniffed him & was like “hey fam”. Lol 😂
Ooooh... Also, I think Hugh's momma was Saera Targaryen. She was out in these streets for real... Sis loved to "revel" and in the books had even more 'Pleasure house' sons. Some even came forward to claim the throne at that council they had at the start of Season 1 (where Viserys was chosen over my Red Queen who shoulda been)
Hugh's mother(according to HOTD) is Balon's (Viserys and Daemon's father) sister Saera... one of King Jahaerys's daughters... She was exiled for being promiscuous and ended up a whore in Lys. Basically, making Hugh, Viserys and Daemon's bastard first cousin.
@@wwhnhe had hella kids and if you remember in season 1 lord strong the old hand at one point said “his daughter drove him insane” sounds like a father to me lol
@@wwhn tbh she was going to bed with several men in whorehouses even though she was a princess, the last straw was when she went with 3 men together 😭 jaehaerys sent her to the citadel to become more religious but she fled to lys and built an empire of pleasure houses there, a queen frr
Daemon is near the end of his soul-searching now. He’s starting to understand his scrambled thoughts and feelings now and focus on what he knows is right and how to go about it. I think the Riverlords scene was his past ways coming back to haunt him, and further evidence that he isn’t suited to rule. He messed this up and is finally accepting what he already knew deep down: he’s not a king, and that’s okay. He’s still important. He’s still strong. He’s just not king.
Hi again! You are too cute/ funny!! Got me rolling at my desk at work when you was talking bout Sliverwing saying" her boo you come here often." 🤣😆😂 This was one of the better eps of the season can't wait for the finale and your reaction!
Lol thank you so much 🫶🏾 when I tell you I was dying watching that scene because silverwing was really flirting 😂😂 and I honestly can’t wait either it’s gonna be amazing!!!
Hugh's mother was Princess Saera Targaryen. She was Viserys and Daemon's aunt. She was a "wild child" (to put it mildly). She ran away and was disowned by the family. She ended up being a famous sex worker in primarily Essos. It's significant because Vermithor belonged to Saera's father, King Jaehaerys. Vermithor choosing Hugh as his rider means a lot, because King Jaehaerys refused to let anyone in the family contact Saera to reconcile with her over the shame Saera did to house Targaryen. Vermithor is essentially saying, "Fuck that noise. Grandpa Jaehaerys was wrong. He may have hated you and been mad at your mama, Hugh, but °I° like you!"
@@wwhnit’s an island ; the castle that House Velaryon is seated is called High Tide so High Tide Castle is on Drifrmark Island. Kind of like Winterfell is the Castle of House Stark in the North ( if that makes sense)
Yes I’m so excited!! Lol and im not sure as I have Maxton Hall to finish editing, Interview With The Vampire to finish watching and edit plus the season finale of this and new projects.
people really must've forgotten what watching game of thrones was like because not every episode and especially storylines were all eventful and interesting. at the end of the day, the show has to build the story and have develop characters in order for the viewer to even care about what's happening and where things are going. s1 plowed through 20+ years of story so it touched on the main points to get to what we're seeing now and beyond. plus, season 2 really has been setting up for the rest of the series as i don't see house of the dragon going beyond 4 seasons. yeah, people complain about everything and i just 🙄 and keep it moving. based on hugh's description of his mother, it's possible that she was saera targaryen, one of king jaehaerys and queen alysanne's daughters, who jaehaerys ended up disowning because of her scandalous ways and rebellious nature and she eventually ended up at a brothel. some would say hugh claiming jaehaerys' dragon, vermithor, is a like a big f**k you in regards to how he treated saera. team black's dragons: rhaenyra - syrax daemon - caraxes jace - vermax baela - moondancer addam - seasmoke (new rider) hugh - vermithor (new rider) ulf - silverwing (new rider) rhaena - sheepstealer (potential new rider, but i think we'll find out for sure in the finale)
That’s exactly how I feel like people really forget how Game of thrones took its time lol And omg really?? I love for that for Hugh. Jaehaerys gets a big eye roll from me for even looking over Rhaenys as heir so I’m not even surprised he treated his own daughter poorly!
she deserves to feel high on her horse in my opinion. she lost everything and with faith and perseverance she was able to get what sought out to get. I give my girl grace lol
Also and Dragon can apparently change their sex based on their surrounding and situations, I think to survive however necessary. Feel free to Lmk more if I’m missing anything!✌🏾
I love Rhaenyra but I agree with Jace on this one. Giving dragons to those commonborn bastards is a big mistake. She should just fly out and meet Daemon to bring him back as her ally. It feels like Mysaria sees her insecurities as a woman and is praying on that for her own ends, notice how Rhaenyra is not even attending the council meetings. I have the feeling this is going to backfire on her face
to be honestly, Rhaenyra wasn’t attending the meetings because the men were not listening to her as she stated, “they talk around me as if I am not there”. also, they wouldn’t agree with her doing what she’s doing with the dragon seeds and she didn’t have time to worry about four to five men with no real power in this fight crying about what she should and shouldn’t be doing. I don’t agree with Jace but I see his point but at the same time his point only comes from his deep rooting hatred for himself.
@@GustavoCardoso95 THAT part! Because sir she had to build a whole dragon army on her own and defend her every move against the men of her council alone since you left and Rhaenys died. Daemon really dropped the ball and I hope she also reads him again in the season finale!
@@wwhn But it's not just simple insecurities you speak of, rulers will and always be consistently perceived by others. That's the whole point why we are here in the first place with Rhaenyra but also in GOT. It's not just something that Jace will question, the realm will whisper and doing this opens the possibility of civil war if Rhae dies. His legitimacy gets undermind when he loses bargaining power with his dragon. Jace's delivery wasn't the best but objectively he's just looking long term
