@TalkTV when addressing the spare's wife, you never say "Meg" so WHY do insist on calling Princess Catherine "Kate Middleton"? Shame on the media and reporters. If you insist on using Princess Catherine's maiden name, then you should call meg "Rachel" and absolutely stop using duchess.

Actually they refer to her as Kate Middleton because she is officially a 'commoner' not born of Royal descent...I know it sounds harsh and I'm not defending it, but that's the protocol and it always has been.
