I work on amd build custom golf karts at a huge new and used Yamaha dealership and what you built is really cool. Fastest golf kart i built so far is a electric lithium ion kart with 48volts and it will run 87 mph cause of the speed controller and settings i put it in it through the app that connects to the speed controller and it has a on the fly pannel where you can turn the motor up or down adjust how fast the throttle response is and adjust the motor brake. Yours is so cool to. And the fastest one i built does wheelies for days with a wheelie bar on the back and he takes it to the drag strip to tow his drag car back from the end of the track and ti staging lines and will make passes with it against other golf karts go karts mini bikes ect and nobody has beat him yet. And he can do a wheelie all the way down the track to the 1/8mile marker as well and run the 1/8 mile in 7 seconds lol at 85mph it runs out of gearing about 100 feet before the end of the 8th is why its such a low speed
Awesome guys! Did you change the jetting for the warm weather? It doesn't seems very peppy. I know you'll get it figured out with clutch and carbs tuning. Im excited to see y'all unleash the full 125hp from this beast
You should be able to find jet charts on the internet as far as tuning your carbs goes. It’ll need to be leaned out a lot as it is made to run below 32 degrees consistently. It should smoke a lot less once you tune them too.
