Try a false back panel to install the outlet. It will look like the wall as you stand back but it’s 2 inches off the wall then you could trim out the outlet like a regular outlet

I install cabinets for a living and the reason why you’re blowing out brad nails is because the way you’re using the gun. The nail tends to bend left or right. If you point your gun in an orientation that the nail can’t go out when going left or right you’ll have no more blowouts.

Love your channel, long time follower. Little tip I learned a while ago. When using a nailer, hold it perpendicular to the lower piece you’re nailing or worried about having blow out in. The nails have a small crown on them and tend to follow the wood grains to either the left or right from your nailers position. If you hold the nailer parallel to the bottom piece it may blow out to either side. Keep up the excellent work and the amazing content. 👍

If you turn your nailer 90 degrees, or perpendicular to the panel you are nailing into the nails won't blow out. This also makes filling the nail holes easier since it lines up with the grain. Great video.

I use 3 producs. I just use a lighted makeup mirror on drawer unit in the bedroom, less humidity.

Try 3/4 screws for 1/2"ply with the pocket holes

Put a piece of plastic wrap on top of the wood filler in the container it helps to keep it useable longer not forever but gives you a little more life

Another trick to avoid chipping on boards is to use a knife or a scribe to mark your line then put that line at the back of the Saw.

I would never have seen that space as useful. Kudos! As for the cord, if you take a little scrap of drywall, you can build a little conduit right around it. If anyone says anything about it, just ask them whey they're doing under your wife's vanity!. PVC conduit would be easier than the drywall. Thanks for your vids

As previously suggested, I'd also add a 'fake' highgloss panel of sorts, then you've got two options. Pull out plug socket Alternatively Insert the plug into the the panel but keep it flush.

Steam would expand your wood pores to enclose your nails, just like deck screws! I don't know how long you would have be there steaming, though! 😅

Use this: *Pop up floor electrical outlet 20A stainless steel GFCI/Tamper resistant.* Since the door is in the way, use a floor receptacle, that way nothing is in the way of anything. P.S. I’m an electrician lol. By code you can not expose MC 12/2 which is what you’re using..or any wire in a wet location & the receptacle must be GFCI/AFCI. When you decide to use a floor receptacle here is some helpful information: The National Electrical Code requires floor outlets to be a part of an approved assembly consisting of a metal box, gasket seal, special receptacle and strong cover plate with a moisture-proof cover. You can't just mount a regular wall outlet in the floor. As long as a receptacle is GFCI/AFCI & weatherproof “WR”, you could place that anywhere.

I can see you building a high back chair of sort for an addition... maybe the back on the outside, matching the "v-cut round over" theme....

what i would have done with the outlet is drill a hole in the trim then take a jigsaw and cut lines to the hole to allow the trim to slide over it then use the same piece you cut out and pop it back in there also put a little pigtail on the seat so its easier to pull out

Brad nails almost always blow out left or right to your nailer. Turn your nailer 90 degrees to what you were nailing and you are much less likely to blow out brads

Face your nail gun perpendicular to the plane of the piece instead of parallel to the plane. The nails will be less likely to blow out.
