Unrelated to anything, but I was playing NBA 2K24, a literal BASKETBALL game and there were 2 grown ass men, one with a 12 year old son and the other sounding like a 50 year old arguing with each other, wishing death on each other and their kids over one guy not scoring any points. One of them threatened to pull the other guy's IP and find where they lived and fight them. It wasn't even competitive play, It was random 5v5 at like 6 in the morning. I’m not surprised 2K is so toxic and could be dangerous let alone I’m a big fan of siege and there’s cheaters, hackers, ddosers and just bad stuff but that’s why I stopped playing 2k someone was tryna say some murderous stuff on the mic on the court like wtf is wrong is people nowadays
put a bunch of guys in a room make them play something competitive and don't let them even attack eachother with anything but words and they will do that

I used to play on virtual reality and there was this game called gorilla tag where you are gorillas and you tag people. And I used to run into these types of racist and homophobic people all the time
i was playing minigames on gorilla tag with my friend and a random guy and when my friend left the other guy said the n word like 10 times (it was hard r)

Which in game voice chat? If you’re talking about the reporting one then I think it’s because there’s an update or it depends on the console you’re using. I’m not sure. :(
@@sacramentoloveIt’s the “report in game voice chat” feature thing Xbox introduced about 11 months ago where you could clip the in game chat and send it to Xbox to report. It disappeared for me a couple months ago and hasn’t came back so I just found it strange.
it 100% is not normalized thankfully its slowly going back to how it used to be with people just ignoring each other and not getting mad but that stretch from 2019 to 2023 was horrible with all the snowflakes. everything then was "racism this, racism that" and "homophobe bigot mouth breathers" and now people say stuff and no one cares anymore its great now that when 1 person says something and someone else doesnt like it they just quit paying attention to the person its almost like people are maturing again and realizing that words mean absolutely nothing
