My new motto is gonna be "Plant flowers; even amidst the crazy!". I just love your attitude, Marla. And look at you...all brave and barefoot up on that scaffolding. Great choices on all the colors. Pinewood Keep is looking quite spiffy with the doors and partial roof. You had me chuckling with your carrying Cleopatra metaphor. 😂 All of your grandkids are sooo precious. Ya'll are truly blessed.

😄 I also decorate, even amidst the crazy... because that little bit of beauty speaks life and hope, and gives you that push to carry on! 🙌 What's funny about my fear of heights is that it only applies to places where I am NOT strapped in. Roller coasters are fine, I am buckled in. But loosey goosey situations are a no-go! 😨

I'm excited too!! 😃 Right now, my poor kitchen is not video-worthy, because it too has been stuffed with my extra things that will be going to the she shed, plus Olivia's dry goods (canned food, foil, ziplocs, spices, flour, sugar) are all being merged into my cabinets and sitting in boxes while we use them up or make room for them. I do have lots of cute flips in my kitchen, and I guess you'll see glimpses of those kitchen things in my home tour videos (I have a playlist of home tours)

😄 My boys are climbers and not the least bit nervous up high. I'd worry more, but I know them. They're very agile. However, I did get onto Sam for being up there in flip flops. At least he took them off to walk the rafters!

Oh Marla how special!!!!! So happy for all of you! He is beautiful and Mama is glowing!!!! I know you are feeling stress when you are inside but what really matters is Issiac is here safe and sound! The shed will eventually get finished! You truly have gotten a lot done in a short time, and all by your wonderful family!! Marla what about free pallet wood for the walls?? We used it in our living room, and it looks amazing!!!! I left nails and holes showing! I used 5 different stain colors and some we left natural!! You may prefer a whitewash!! What a sweet garden helper you had!! It seems like we have seen all seasons of weather through this build!! Oh, please take good care of you and your amazing family! Hugs & Love

I did consider pallet wood! Right now, Ben is already so pressed for time, the paneling may be more merciful to him because it's faster. I do love the look of old planks (barnwood, fence boards, pallet wood) and can always add that in the future ❤️

Your very welcome. Grandbabies are precious heirlooms. And your so right, Home projects take time. I don't know about those labor cost though. Your boys look like mine, mountain size! I know how much I spend to fill mine up, LOL. Mine can throw down on some Momma made food. It makes me feel loved when they ask me to cook their favorite meals. But, I might have to pull my hair out if I had to feed them every weekend for a while. Thank goodness they have wives now, lol. 😁😉 🥰
