I would never take a plane flight ANYWHERE on a holiday. Because a holiday is only one day. And by the time you get there you have to turn around and come home so you can get to work the next day. Now, if I was going on vacation, as in, "I'm vacating my home so I can go to Hawaii for a couple weeks, then I'd take a plane.

The whole slippers thing happened to me once. To the floaties comment, YES they float they are filled with a type of cells and fat that are lighter than water. All body fat is lighter than water, the more fat the easier it is to float, people who very low body fat have serious issues NOT sinking in water.
