Shed Hunting for deer (GIANT ELK DEAD HEAD FOUND) 

A day of shed hunting to find a match set of whitetail sheds to mount to our RH2 system.
Then finding a giant dead elk head leaning agaist a tree. We think he was killed by anohter elk bull in a fight. We found near by broken elk tines and this gave us the idea was was speared and passed was from his injurys. Its a shame but a cool find. Soon we will have a cleaning video and final video of the skull.
We could not find much of the rest of his bones but a few near by, bear and yotes mostly likely dragged them away. There are lots of elk in Michigan but very diffcult to get a tags in the lottery system. Only a few are chosen each year.
