I love the smell of wet hemlock old growth forest!! I'm originally from Western Washington and elk hunting is hands down my favorite thing on earth! I love your videos! Everytime you put up a new one I tell the wife I'm busy for like the next 20 minutes leave me alone. Keep up the good work.
Oh yea I here ya! I got the opportunity to start guiding elk hunts here on Vancouver Island and I've been obsessed ever since! Thanks for the feed back, it's comments like these that motivates me to keep doing it👍
Never hurts to inquire, I guide for trophywestguideoutfitters here on Vancouver Island, amazing outfit. Thanks! Stay tuned I got another vid in the works👍
Thanks!! I normally start looking as soon as the holidays are over. But the fresh antler don’t normally start hitting the ground until beginning of march. But it’s still always fun to find them even if there a bit old
@@inclosehunting2315 ok awesome ! I’ve been out twice now over the last few weeks and haven’t found anything but a ton of sign ! Fingers crossed for my first elk shed soon !
It’s crazy how you know all these elk spots.. I am sure the people who showed you where these big bulls live must have hunted a long time to figure these areas out.
These are all spots I have found through Google Earth, trail cameras, trial and error, and relentless pursuits. It's a passion of mine and I take pride in finding new areas that could potentially be holding monster bulls nobody has seen before.
@@inclosehunting2315 nice man I’ve tried all over and all I ever find is poop. Hard work and trial and error pays off to I am sure. I will have to look on google earth. You could probably start an antler store with the collection you have👍
Thanks! it took me 3 years of finding nothing but poop before I started figuring some areas out haha. But oh man it's a rush when you start finding them!
@@SuperBrockolee the elk managment program on the island is extremely limited to hunting bulls so most bulls live to be mature animals. Interestingly enough a big bull is more likely to die of old age or from getting injured during the rut. Most of the outdoorsman I've had the pleasure to talk with have a huge deadhead in the garage. Would love to afford a $20,000 trophy bull hunt for an alien.
I can't figure out how to attach a pic to my comments or I'd show you my biggest bull I took in Washington in 2006. Do you have a website or contact info for your guide service?
