Modern snowshoes are very difficult to break trail. They work well on a semi packed trail. If you are going to break trail the old fashioned wooden ones work best.

@@inclosehunting2315 yes it's an awesome thing, my son is my best friend( aside from my wife) and we hunt, shed hunt, hike and work together and I am eager to share the same with my grandsons and watch my son do the same with his son's, good luck to you this year also, maybe we could do a trade for an alberta set of elk for a Roosevelt set...?
You think the bulls are dropping on the island yet? I’ve got a bachelor heard with some studs zeroed in on but I’m scared to go near them I don’t want to push them out. Would you wait until April or may or go in now? Btw your videos are top notch can’t wait to see what you find this year
Yea all the big bulls should be dropped by now. I seen an average 5 point last week that had lost one side, so yea I’m sure the big ones have dropped by now. And I wouldn’t wait to long I don’t know where abouts you are but the undergrowth becomes a problem when It grows back, can’t even see your own feet. Thanks for the input I went out and found a monster 5 and decent 6 the 5 is bigger though the 5 was fresh couldn’t match him up though but they have definitely dropped
