2020s world seems to be very anti-past.

I think I managed to sign the petition. To be honest, I don't really know if there is much worth saving. But I suppose if we don't try and find out now, we may never know. What I do wonder is, how have they managed to leave the site in its current state for a whole decade?

I thought the castle was razed hundreds of years ago. Would there be anything left worth excavating other than some foundations?

When was that retaining wall put up Tim? I'd love to see that castle wall on the slope, are there any photos? Would be a key asset to Sheffield, if we had a bit of wall that we could reinstate a walkway on like York, even for a small straight section.

But they've already uncovered the drawbridge pier. Do you mean there was a second one?
