Featuring notable places and landmarks such as Sheffield Town Hall, Sheffield City Hall, West Street, Division Street, Pinstone Street and more.
We start in the Hillsborough area of Sheffield close to the Sheffield Wednesday ground, before heading down Penistone Road and through Shalesmoor into the City Centre.

Thanks for that - I live about 5 minutes from your start/finish point but I very rarely go into town these days so it was good to see what’s going on with all the redevelopment.

I lived in Sheffield in the early 70s, working at the Morning Telegraph newspaper, before emigrating to Australia. Not much I recognise here after 50 years! I rented a flat in Norfolk Park for a while before moving out to rural Calver in Derbyshire - just wondered if any of your vids take in Norfolk Park.

@@SheffieldVideos Thanks for asking. I shared a flat over a supermarket in a little shopping centre off Norfolk Park Road, if my memory is correct. I loved the view over the city - we could hear cheers from Bramall Lane on match days. I gather the tram runs up there nowadays - have you considered filming from trams, if they allow it?

This is a great video, but it shows that Sheffield city centre is no longer welcoming the motor car - and I, for one, think that is a great thing! The city is changing, and for the better.
