Sheffield city centre Castlegate excavation of Castle why it must be more thorough sign the petition 

It would be great if someone could do a really thorough drone flight over the whole site, lets see everything in detail.

After the Market Tavern was " mistakenly" demolished I hold out very little hope for any preservation of major parts/ finds on this site.The priorities of Sheffield Council are unlikely to extend that far.The imposition of Low Traffic Neighbourhoods without proper consultation either before or after with the subsequent ( almost certainly intentional) increase in traffic jams in Walkley and pollution in affected districts showcases what the ability of Sheffield Council is.

Would be great for them to keep all thats been found for posterity. Viukd put gardens etc round it.

Why has it not been all excavated is it just down to money.

Have the archeologists left the site now? Is that it? They had a 2 week extension for dig and that has expired?

Have you tried LIDAR.
