I don't think it was so much that he was reading War and Peace but that he defied instructions given by his parent. Sheldon thinks (rightly so on most occasions) that he can do whatever he wants and doesn't have to comply with directions given by a parent or other adult. His open defiance of his father was what got George mad and is what should be punished. The solitary reading of War and Peace was not the problem.

Napoleon's in- vasion of the Russian empire. A time way before Marx and before Lenin so before the Russian Revolution. The armies of Napolean did effect the mindset of the serfs of Russia who would raise up against the empire within two generations of Napolean's wars on Europe ....the making and changing of history. Odd subject for Sheldon since he has zero emotional intelligence, why would he care what the peasants (serfs) thought. Social science not real science to Sheldon. Weird scene for him.
Sheldon's open defiance of his father by refusing to go to class needed to be addressed and disciplined. If it had been one of the other two kids, they would have received harsh discipline. But George just walks away from it instead of dragging the brat out of the closet and taking him to the classroom.
What would he have done to the other two? We’ve seen no physical punishment in this show so I don’t think anyone would be dragged forcefully out of that closet. Sheldon is unique in his learning capabilities and he needs to be challenged. A huge and consistent part of this show is his family struggling with keeping him close and child-like and giving him a chance to achieve his full potential.
WTF? You think dragging a kid down a hallway and stuffing him into a classroom is going to solve anything? That would totally disrupt the class and the teacher and impact all the other students. You think that would actually help Sheldon's ability to socialize, which is what this was all about? More likely the rest of the students would never go near him again, he would become the butt of all kinds of jokes the rest of his time in that school, and he would totally shrink inward. George did the right thing - took him out of the school to eliminate any disruption and public humiliation, and addressed the situation in the privacy of their home. Sheldon was punished, and the smart adult in the room (Mee Maw) actually figured out the reason and a solution instead of making things worse. I hope you don't have kids - because they would likely become permanently traumatized by your foolishness. Try reading a book on child psychology and stop the cycle of abuse that it seems you received from your parents.
to be honest, Sheldons broom closet looks really comfortable to study in. way better than a public library or a messy room that stresses you out even more
I agree with sheldon like- If your not learning anything and you know everything in that class then i would argue for the school to test sheldon if he deserves to be above the grade he is now
Gwendolin ist im ich selbstbewusster die glaubt viel mehr an sich die hat kein Problem damit anders zu sein Und sie ist anders und das ist auch gut so sie lebt stark ihr eigenes Leben während die Cousine eher den Schein als sein von besonders hat Das ist im Film umgekehrt aber Gideon ist im Buch eine ganz andere Persönlichkeit im Film wird gerne was für kotzbroken und macho und weis was ich er ist aber im Buch ist er zwar hibach aber er ist nciht trendy sein langes Haar lässt ihn rausstechen man merkt dass er in verschwinden Jahrhunderten lebt Er ist eher der verschämte verliebte und zwischen ihm und gwendolin ist nur ein Kuss oder so Es gibt nie eine Sex sevens wie es soe im zweiten Film gibt Zudem hatt er seinen Auftritt erst in der Mitte des Buches Diese erste Zeitreise in der sie sich küssend mit jemanden sieht ist im Buch relevanter da das Ende geändert wurde Es geht darum wer war das und später erfahrt sie dass es dieser Junge ist den sie sofort erkennt A so ten ist der erste und zweite film größten teils korrekt außer die end drama Szene I’m zweiten Film gibt es so nciht aber die ball Szene gibt es aber sie ist nciht wirklich romantisch eher fremdschaemend weil es darum geht dass Charlotte immer verlobt in Gideon war und er sie nur mochte aber seine erste liebe und seine große Liebe ist gwendolin und Charlotte die sich immer für was besseres hielt betrinkt sich und sie müssen sie von der Party holen weil sie die ganze Zeit betrunken von der life allen anderen Betrunkenen erzählt Die Party hat keine Bedeutung Der Film ändert sich vom Buch in dem Moment wo man den chronograph en findet Im Buch ist es nie passiert alle entschuldigen sich bei ihr für die Unterstellung und die ganze Verwandtschaft von gwendolin deckt und hilft ihr es gibt diese Geschwister liebe nicht so im Film Zudem ist die Paul und Lucy Treff Szene sehr relevant und die Geist Szene total I relevant sie besiegen den Graphen wegen dem zweiten chronograph en da Gideon das Pulver trinkt und auch unsterblich wird zudem ist es der Arzt der den Graphen killt gwendolin ist da sehr irrelevant in der Geschichte Am Ende bleiben sie auf alle Zeiten zusammen Diese ganze god Szene gibt es nicht e
Um Buch ist Charlotte sehr ordinär sie hält sich für was besseres aber sie ist ganz gewöhnlich sie hält Gwen für be Baum und beleidigt sie mit ihrer Mutter durchgehend und sagt immer Gwen hätte zu viel Fantasie und sie suche nach Aufmerksamkeit Da Gwen schon als klein kind Geister sehen konnte Während Gwen sich von allem irgendwo distanziert und ihr Leben lebt Charlotte ist ein Charakter den man nciht wirklich gern hat … Da sie sich dauernd aufleht wie viele Jungs sie toller fänden als die Cousine Was nciht wirklich stimmt Entgegensatz zu Charlotte ist Gwen zwar auch jungfraich das wird im Buch stark tematiesiert? Aber sie hat Erfahrung mit Leuten gesammelt und sich’s ich schon geküsst Während gesagt wird das Charlotte ihr ganzes Leben künstlich isliert wurde und sie wäre bereit zu sterben für die Louge Und dieses Ende mit Gideon da ist man auch schon schafendreudig Weil Charlotte ist ein Hass Charakter im Buch
Die he schichte ist eine drei Wochen he shvihte sie passiert sehr schnell und sehr dynamisch aber das mag ich am Film mehr Man glaubt eher die Liebesgeschichte von Gwen und Gideon I’m Buch ist nach drei Wochen sagen eine 16 und ein 18 jähriger ich liebe dich und wir werden auf ewig zusammen sein und du denkst dir In einer Woche macht ihr Schluss
Ich mag die Filme schon Bloß sie sind so unterschiedlich und irgendwo so schön das man sich schwer entscheidet Aber Charlotte ist ein realer antogonist im Buch und sie setzt sich als Ziel gern das Leben zu erschweren Ich mag die im Film mehr
