Ah, 22. My hair was the right color, my smile was a million bucks, and my face didn t look like a silly putty mudslide.

I partially miss the early 20s as well. I really did feel invincible. Luckily, I must say, as I took decisions at the time that I wouldn't dare take now. I just thought it everything works out if you want it and work for it. So I just jumped into cold water. Then came the reality check 😅

Who feels invincible at 22? I really want to know. Because I recently heard a comedian say something about this: that people only remember the good things about their youth and idealise it, when in fact they were quite insecure and unhappy at that time in reality. That's how I feel right now - and everyone I know at my age. 22 is a brutal age, with the sudden responsibilities of being a grown-up hitting you, the questions about who you are and where you want to be, the realisation that everything you will do in your life is crappy, every job is crappy, being a parent is exhausting, not being a parent is saddening, being in a relationship is scary and hard work... No, it's not an invincible age. The exact opposite actually.
