Be careful with Shell Helix Ultra Professional, since there are quite a number of varieties even in the same SAE weight. These oils differ in their parameters quite significantly. Look for the letters just after the name. If I'm not mistaken here the AF variety was used which is made to comply with the newer Ford turbodiesel norms. This one actually is on the low side of the viscosity range for XW-30, getting close to XW-20 side. Make sure you pick the right one for your application.

I am quite skeptical regarding the outcome of the Bardahl oil. I use the 5W-40 50501 and have great engine performance. Before I had Mobil1 and my oil usage was through the roof. Now with Bardahl 5W-40 that is been solved now because it has a higher than average Total Base Number.

Thank you for this great job! Could you try to test the lubricity test of the used oil or to test some used oil just to see how are affected the properties after 10.000 km of X oil in Y engine, but yeah, we ask for too much already. Keep up with the good work!

Can you test the bardahl 5w30 technos EXCEED ?? I have 600.000 km on my A4 with that oil

Salut Sergiu. Mi-aș dori sa faci o comparație între Pennzoil Platinum, Pennzoil Ultra Platinum si Quaker State Ultimate Durability. Sunt uleiuri produse de Shell si vreau sa vad care ar avea rezultate mai bune sau cât de diferite sunt. Pennzoil este considerat premium, Quaker State este considerat medium. Oare rezultatele ar reflecta diferența de preț?

Do you have any test with MANNOL? It sell oil at 1/2 price than others and claim to be synthetic PAO+ester base.

Salut Sergiu! Keep up the good and interesting work! As fi tare curios sa vad un Total quartz 5w30 in testele tale deoarece as vrea sa il compar cu ELF si Castrol gtx. Motivul este ca eu avand Renault am folosit doar ELF fulltech 5w30 care este facut de Total. Din 2020 cei de la Renault recomanda Castrol Gtx care vine impachetat special pentru Renault iar dealer-ul mi-a spus ca este diferit de cel din bidon alb(cel testat de tine). Oare o fi marketing? Oricum sunt surprins ca Renault a decis sa treaca la un ulei mai prost ( concluzia o trag din testele tale) 😁🏎. Daca as putea sa iau legatura cu tine ar fi super deoarece as putea sa iti trimit cate un litru din fiecare! ( castrol gtx 5w30 rn020 , castrol fulltech 5w30 total quartz 5w30 )
