BᴇᴡᴀʀᴇTʜᴇOғғᴇɴsɪᴠᴇWᴏʀᴅ Hi, as they explained in the video , they should be only inside cats. Otherwise if outside they need supervision like a child. I rescued one , she is so sweet but need to find her a home since I am in charge of an entire colony. I am in South Florida.
I know. Generally I have a mixture of all the emotions that they said people tend to react with. But that was perfect comedic timing with that one. He just yeeted right off screen, bless that little darling
My family had a wobbily cat. One of the sweetest cats we ever had. She had no idea she wasn't a 'normal' cat, she just loved life. She lived until she was 17 years old. People really ought to give these cats a chance. They have a lot to give.
i have a wobbly cat and she is an absolute perfect angel!!! she loves life and she’s such a silly little girl. out of my 3 cats she is the one who is truly an angel and never does anything ornery. love her so much!! we didn’t know she had a condition until we brought her home and noticed her walk. it made me love her even more, she’s so precious!! so glad we got her to give her a loving home
You and your husband are amazing, and I love you both. I also love your beautiful cats. You are fine human beings, and you deserve all the love those cats, and people who love cats, give you. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I do too, his name is Douglas Black Panther Jefferson (Doug) I have videos of when he was first born till now. He's a one year old. He was born with a split nose and a cleft lip. He's all black hence the name (black panther) and we love him so so much 💕 he was a gift not a burden 🙏
@@tishachavez2584 question. I'm considering fostering a wobbly kitten while I'm indoors for Covid, possibly to adopt. Do they interact OK with regular cats? I have a 11 month old kitten and wonder if they could coexist in the same space. It seems according to the video it would be ok, but I live in an apartment, not a house big enough for 100 cats. Thanks @Tisha Chavez @Don’t look at my profile Pic @Zombie Prepper
In the late 1960s when I was around 10 years old we had a cat with CH. He was very wobbly. We didn't know what was wrong and we weren't well off so we never took him to the vet. He never seemed like he was in pain. We took good care of him. Once he got hurt and outside of his mouth swelled up.. i drained the pus and kept applying bacitracin. He healed up well. I would hand feed him a lot because it took him forever to eat and he'd get the food all over. We fed him wet food because he lost some teeth from falling down. He drooled alot. When we'd call him he'd come running as fast as he could but sometimes during the excitement he'd flip backwards. He was very determined and he didn't think anything was wrong. I remember he once was trying to mate with another cat and he kept jumping over her and ending up on the ground. She would just stand there. He wasn't successful but at least he tried. When his mother had another litter he'd nurse with the new kittens. My dad took all the kittens to the humane society when they were able to eat cat food. We kept Charlie and his mom. He lived over 10 years. I wish we had known more about his condition. I think if we did take him to the vet back then they'd probably suggest that we put him down. I'm glad we kept him.
I have CP, which is the human version of CH and I find it charming that there's cats who understand my struggle to do basic things like eating without making a mess. Even I get wobbly because of my muscle tone and it's annoying to no end. Told my mom that even though she hates cats, we're adopting one if possible because we'd be able to help each other cope.
@wabbajocky8235 I usually say my disability is cerebral palsy first before using the short-term version. Honestly, I find it offensive that the internet has started using the term "CP" to refer to something so vile when people like myself have to use it to name their disability.
@@allaninaet2835 i don't support your sentiment but yeah it's very unfortunate that the shorthand for your disease share the same letters as something so horrific
@wabbajocky8235 Cerebral Palsy isn't really a "disease" because one can't catch it from someone who has it. It's more of an umbrella term for a family of physical disorders where the cerebellum is messed up in some way. Causes can range from case to case. Mine was a brain bleed as a newborn back before they came out with those blood clotting shots they give to babies nowadays.
I have a wobbly cat. 😍 And shes the sweetest. Yeah im still trying to figure out how she can successfully go to the washroom and not be covered in urine. But i love her and she deserves to be loved.
Hi! I recommend you can cover a specific area of your bedroom or bathroom with dog pee pads. You can limit the area and bring her back consistently ( like training a dog) or leave her there contained so she feels the difference of peeing in bare floor and on top of a pad. Get the cheap masking tape and try replacing the pads or part of them if it is worth saving the unused side. The wobbly cat that I am fostering is a sweetie and I had to take her inside during the last Hurricane season. They should be inside all the time or under supervision if going out.
@@mariagratiaplena2000 Thank you. Ill try to get those pads. And yes i cant stand leaving her on her own, my paranoia just wont let me. But she doesnt move. She doesn't even try and im a bit worried about that.
Domo Pix How old is your cat? Remember it could be a different diagnosis. Try finding a local LOW COST VET in your Area in order to find what us going on.
@@mariagratiaplena2000 she's about 3-4 months. The vets told me to give her B12 vits. I haven't started giving her yet, because im broke af thanks to the pandemic. Also they we kind of lost, im from Trinidad and Tobago the citizens of this country really dont care about animals. Shes the first wobbly cat that they've ever seen. So theyre just trying their best to figure out how to help her
I have a 7 year old black cat who was born just like this but she loves her life and I couldn't be more happier she's amazing I help her go to the bathroom I help her eat and drink but no she's not in any pain ...and she's happy
Currently sitting on a bed patting a wobbly cat, he's so adorable and has such a vibrant attitude. He's so hilarious when he tries to rub against your leg and just butt slams into your leg instead 😂 his smile is so cute his mouth is slightly open and he just looks content
I just found one 3 days ago. She need a lot of help she was only bones. She’s very playful, sweet and funny. She’s white with light blue eyes. Love her! 💕🐈😽🐈💕
I have twins with the condition . They do just fine and have grown from 2 months to almost 7 years old now . They have a few limitations but on a whole they do fantastic and are happy, healthy and loving boys . They never get better but they never get worse either and it’s not contagious in the slightest
The severity of the disorder I feel makes a difference, in my opinion when the cat can't eat or go to the bathroom on their own its not a good quality life.
I had a cat that lived to be 12 years old with CH that passed away last year. Her name was Stipes and she had the absolute best life we could've given her.
Their Cerebellum is underdeveloped so they wobble a little, they don't know they are a little different and get along very well. Soft toddler bowls and a raised dog Buddy Bowl works for our wobbly to avoid messy issues and relax their frustrations with bouncing their noses while trying to eat. They are extra loving.
Love it.. Wish more people would think of looking after them, other than the alternative. Animals have souls too. And their personalities are irreplaceable. 🥰😍🙀🙏
You absolutely MUST know, as an owner of a “wobbly cat,” they are completely normal w the exception of their gait. A yr ago I adopted Button from a gigantic rescue in Houston. She was dropped off, thank God, at a shelter, abused, and full of kittens in her 1st heat. She is a blue point Siamese , and once her owners saw she was “deficient “ they threw her out and a shelter picked her up. Fast forward to today; I’ve had her a year. She is my absolute HERO bc she lets nothing get in her way to being a happy little cat in my household. We snuggle together always, and she knows how to use the steps I’ve set up for her. If ANYBODY IS STILL READING THIS..,,.adopt a “wobbly cat.” They will fill you w so much love. I promise it.
This Wobbly cat Syndrome is called Cerebella Hypoplasia. It is something that is a disability that a cat can live with forever and they are the happiest cats ever. There is also three different levels of CH too. There is the one that a cat can walk pretty much normal with a hint of CH, a mild type that a cat can walk but has some balance issues, and third the worse where they don’t walk at all and need assistance in feeing, taken place to places and litter box too even though they do try to get where they want to on their own which is good. This place that takes in these cats is such a beautiful place and for that, I’m thankful to them for it and also am pleased too that there are people out there who do love these cats enough to love them and give them a forever home. Thank you to the Shelter and may God continue to bless you always!! Sue(Clearwater, Florida)❤️😘😺🙏🏻👼👍🏻💕💕🌸🌼🥰😎☀️❌⭕️❌⭕️
Mr. E hello Mr. E. I do understand you and that you have cats of your own and that they need you too. It does get pretty expensive to have more pets then what you can afford. Just do your best if you are able to to find the right family that will be able to adopt this precious kitty. That is all that you can ever do. Also, don’t feel bad that you can’t keep her Ok? There should be someone out there who is special to want to take her and love her too. God bless you always! Sue(Clearwater, Florida)❤️🙏🏻😺💕🥰👼😘🌴🌸🌼😇❌⭕️❌⭕️
It's a CH cat. Usually they get better with age. There's absolutely no reason to euthanize!!! Within the last 2 weeks we had 2 of them be adopted to good homes. Merry Christmas to our 2 furbabies!
God bless this kind, compassionate woman.i also take in special needs and hospice cats. Many live for many years with special care.May God bless this woman with all she needs to continue her kind mission. It's a lot of work. Shameful most cat owners "love" their cats, but only if they are healthy. As sin as they get sick or old and need special care, they rush to put them down or hand over to "someone" else. Please don't get any animals if you are not willing to put in the work in case of illness or old age.
I have 6 weeks old wobbly cat. Her mom abandon her. Shes born normal. When shes 3 weeks old she fall from my neighbor roof straight to the floor head first coma for 2 days and vomiting blood. I thought shes die at first, i keep pushing her chest then i feel her heart beat and some buble come from her bloody nose. Then i clean her blood and keep her warm. shes wake up and meowing agan 2 days later i feed her cat milk. Now shes an active happy cat, wobbling doest hold her. 😆 I love her, i name her "miracle".
Cats dont know there is anything wrong, so they go along normally (to them). That only adds to their adorable factor. Ive only seen them in videos but id be very happy to take one or two if I had the chance.
around these parts they are called ch kittys, the abreviation for cerabeler hypoplasia, basicly its functions kind of like cerebral palsy, they have several at friends of felines in defiance ohio, they tumble about and look a bit like they are walking on ice or strutting across the dancefloor but they are really superfriendly, regular cats just its like they have a servo not working or a miswire, but they still get around even scramble when they play I have seen it for myself. and they are super strong I have seen
My cat gave birth to 4 kittens and one of them has wobbly syndrome. We gave the three kittens for adoption and we kept the wobbly one. Til' now, he's still with us and he is very sweet. When we call him he runs as fast as he could and sometimes rolls and flip backwards as if he is too excited to get to us and don't know what to do. We love him very much and now he is one of the best cat we've ever had.
We had a kitten that was dumped at our house. While trying to find a home for it. She got pregnant and had 2 kittens. One had wobble syndrome and was the most loveable kitten that would snuggle and purr like crazy.
We brought in a ferrule kitten that the mother left in out back yard. After about a year he developed the wobbly syndrome. His back legs are the problem it difficult to up and down stairs. He can't get his back legs in a litter box so he just puts his front legs in and poops and pees outside the box. My heart breaks for him. He a very affectionate cat. We love Sparky!
Us a small box with no lid u gonna have mess of cat litter on the floor but is normal with some of them my cat make a mess all the time seems like standing in it is a little difficult for them
I recommend also to “build” a contained area and cover the floor with dog pee pads. Look for the cheap masking tape at the dollar store and replace the whole pad or the side that was soiled. You can use furniture or boxes to build the enclosure and train the cat to go to that spot . Also have a damp towel at hand in case she stepped on poop or pee, mine doesn’t need it but like for me to clean her with a damp towel every now and then.
@@ieatchinese2 that is not CH, that could be a disease, parasite or injury. CH cats are born wobbly, it doesn’t come on suddenly. Hope your kitty is ok
When I adopted my wobbly boy, no one had a clue that anything was wrong with him. He used to "sway" his hips when he was younger and we'd call him "The Model" but as he got older, it got worse and we knew something was wrong. Fast forward a few years and he's had a great life. He's about 8 now and the sweetest cat ever.
I'm fostering a 6-month-old with this condition. She was brought to me when she was 4 weeks old i found her a home i thought it was a happy ending for the little one nope she was returned to me and they dont want her 😪 im in California if anybody can help guide me please do so.
To everyone feeling bad abt giggling at these cats: it doesn't make you a terrible person if you think the way they walk is a little funny!!! As long as the cat isn't in pain, distressed, or with a bad quality of life there's no problem in thinking they look a little silly when they wobble. As long as we don't start purposely breeding more cats with this disability then its okay to giggle!! The cats in the video look happy and living their best lives too which is great :)))
My cat wasn't born wobbly, he came home one day and keeps moewing and losing his balance Everytime can someone please tell me what's the problem? I really need to know ;-;
They are not always born this way. Our two didn't show signs of CH until they were about 3 months old. Thier mother had several litters that were fine then only two of her last litter got it. All are spayed or neutered on our farm and live happy healthy lives.
I have a semi-wobbly cat. The diagnosis was congenital vestibular disease/disorder. I’m just having a hard time being certain she isn’t just living with a permanent case of “the spins” like someone who has had too much to drink. That sounds awful.
Wobbly cats are in the sweet-spot: they're cute, but they're too awkward for the clout-chaser type who want a Quirky Pet they can neglect, so nobody tries to make more on purpose.
