The ISAC University Teaching Program (ISAC-UTP) offers opportunity for international teachers to teach at a Chinese university for 10 months or longer. Teachers will teach language courses to university students aged between 18-22. Job positions include English, French, German, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, Engineering Lecturers etc.

I am going to Shenzhen in July for 6 months on an Au Pair program. I'll be taking Mandarin lessons then, but I am so nervous about the language barrier! Despite that I am so excited for new opportunity, cultural immersion, and the landscapes! Thanks for this video, it made me feel even more excited!

Don''t be nervous at all..I lived in Shenzhen for 14 years, from 2004 till 2018. I spoke zero Chinese when I first arrived but I became fluent in two years. If you immerse yourself in learning the language and hang out with locals who love to talk and make you talk you will have a very fun way of learning the language : )
