Thanks for the video. Reassembly is easier if you put the smaller split bushing (the one with the little tab) on the pedal before inserting the inner pin of the return spring. The tab sits inside the machined slot closest to the outer return spring pin, making sure that it lays against the 3 wrap side of the return spring. Your video helped me salvage a great set of pedals. Thanks again.

What a pain in the arse that was , took me over 40 mins each pedal putting them back together.😂😂. Having said that these pedals are over 7 years old and never been touched. Hopefully last another 7. Thanks for sharing.

I have to put the pedal in a vice to turn the bolt that retains the spindle inside the pedal. I'd ordinarily use a torch, but too many plastic bits... I've had these through the winter on the fat bike (bought new in January) and if it's not red thread lock it's seriously bonded. I'll be looking into a pedal with better seals in the future. Thank you for this video.

at time 0:50 i stuck, because i was unable to undo the axle from the body. because ... it is anticlockwise on right pedal, you should me warn ;)

The smaller black half circle pĺastic has a notch attach to the castle like metal tube and should be put before attaching the spring. I think the pedal will work without that plastic. Just my opinion. Thank you.

You put in the half circle pieces after you put the main clip back inside the pedal but I could not get it in to save my life that way. I had to put it in after I put the spring on but before I put it in the pedal housing. Here's a link to an exploded view of the parts and I put them together in the order you see them in this view. If you look at the exploded view you can see the one half circle piece goes in with the little nub down so it should go in first. There is a deeper notch on the clipless part where it goes. when you put that tricky part, you should just put it there, don't worry about the groove, then when you screw in the bolt it will just follow and fall to the groove but the washer above the tricky part must fall in correctly first

Auf alle Fälle Einmalhandschuhe anziehen wenn ihr mit Bremsenreiniger arbeitet! Das Zeug ist nicht wirklich gesund. Und achtet auf Gute Lüftung. Auch sollte das Fett und Öl nicht so bedenkenlos ohne Handschuhe verwendet werden. Ansonsten ein Guter Tip.
