I take a real beating on the comments I post about modern bike technology. I defend bikes likes yours because they are and have proven to be the best bikes through time. I agree there is something mesmerizing about shiny silver on a bike and it has been the look I have tried hard to achieve with my modern Ti build. I don't get why the groupset manufacturers think all we want is black. Black doesn't match with a blue bike at all or the chameleon colors that people are digging on right now. Weight is another thing I have learned not to focus on because realistically a bike with some weight like 19 to 21 lbs offers a much better ride feel than a sketchy race bike. Why is it all the media channels focus on race so much? Most of us don't race we just love riding or bikes. Glad you posted your bike and happy about the things you pointed out you like about it. 👍👍
