Their concerts last for 3 to 3 1/2 hours and the energy is just about the same. For this concert, they did 4 or 5 high octane songs like this without a break. Even their ballads have so much emotion poured into them that the energy is present. They are the consummate performers. This is the reason why they are considered the gold standard in Kpop.
Honestly the opening section for this concert was absolutely ridiculous, there was so much energy that I was genuinely amazed that they kept it that consistent for the entire show.
Each SHINee concert lasts around 3-3.5 hours and their energy is on high all throughout. They give it all out in every performance. This opening is fire!! “Sherlock” it’s a hibrid song separate in two pieces “Clue” and “Note”, and they play the both versions on the concert. And yeah, all of them can sing very well, and in this show they were still five members as you can see. Jonghyun was the one who hit those high notes on the middle part. I can say that he was one of the best vocalist in the hole kpop industry. One of the members of SHINee, Key, recently said that the missing of one of the most important vocalists of the group leave a huge impact on them, but he hopes that SHINee keep working hard. He said that miss him and don’t want to people talk about it as a sad thing. The reason why i’m telling this it’s because Jonghyun has leave his legacy on k-pop industry for being such a genius man in life and career, and if you guys continue your journey to SHINee, you will see a lot of his work on it and I hope you all can enjoy it with honesty. Thanks for watching the performance :) For recommendation: Since Sherlock it’s a bop, you can watch another hit “Dream Girl” and “Everybody”. Or if you guys want see something more recent, pick up “I Want You” and “Good Evening”. I also recommend “Our page”, the song it’s a Tribute for Jonghyun and talk about how the members will not leave him and will continue writing the pages of that story that doesn’t have an end yet. All the three songs that I said it’s from the album “The story of Light” that was separate in three EP’s, and talks mostly about they history. also, my english is pretty bad so I’m sorry for any mistakes...

There is a reason why SHINee is known as the KINGS of live performances. Their live vocals, dance, energy, artistry, performance, stage presence professionalism etc are really unmatched. Each of their concert is really an incredible experience!
I was actually in the crowd of this SHINee concert in the dvd, their concert run between 3 to 4 hours (In japan it was definitely closer to 4 hours) and the only time we have to rest is during the videos they play between sections so they can change clothes. Even during the ballads you are all in. But you are so high on adrenaline you aren't tired only afterwards you crash hahah Jonghyun once said that after 3 days they do one concert each night they can lose 10 kilograms each in weight. That's crazy! Also this tour isn't even the biggest production of SHINee and definitely not of Kpop. But you are right the west could never! The all standard is completely different. But this is why it's so fun!
SHINee's live performance of "Sherlock" is from their SHINee World Concert IV in Seoul (South Korea) in 2015. Official concert DVDs, like the video this clip is from, are usually filmed at the beginning or end of a world tour, so they are almost always filmed in Seoul because they always open and close their tour at home. (That is, unless you are watching a Japanese concert tour, and then those official DVD videos will usually be filmed at the Tokyo Dome in Japan.) And if you think this performance was amazing, just wait until you see a full concert. SHINee concerts last 3+ hours and they are pretty much nonstop just like this. They will perform around 20-30 songs during this concert while singing live the whole time and never sound out of tune or out of breath. They are this powerful the entire time, regardless if it's the opening number or the last song after 3 hours. The outfits they are wearing are supposed to remind you of a stylized version of a soldier, it has to do with the fact that they also perform their song "Everybody" during this set and the concept for "Everybody" is that they are supposed to be toy soldiers. If you continue watching this concert you would also see them perform "Everybody" right after this. SHINee are known for their live performances and there is no one better when it comes to live, than them. It's actually referred to as the SHINee standard, and it's the standard all other groups strive to reach.
I will just say "AS EXPECTED SHINee" if you see Korean people reacting to anything SHINee they just say this phrase 'YEOKSHI SHINee' means As expected SHINee,, They have their own standard in industry Juniors idolize them so much,industry loves them and they themselves Hold so much pride in SHINee and they are even more popular in Japan
This performance was part of their FIRST SECTION in the concert. They performed 5-6 choreo heavy songs in this section without break. SHINee concerts last for like 2.5 - 3.5 HRS. And it is a mix of hype songs, ballads, chill jams, choreo heavy, musical esque etc. You get everything!!
I'm glad you have a good time while checking SHINee out. SHINee is that magic. You say they'll exhausted after performing like that in a concert. But the truth is they can do 3 or 4 songs with this type of tempo in a row. Even after doing the ballad, they'll perform another fast tempo songs too later and they're not showing any tiredness at all. You'll know if you watch their entire concert. They're really that bad ass for live performance. I suggest you to check out their "Everybody" in Tokyo Dome concert. You'll know i'm not being exaggerated in here.
It would be great if you could go through their title tracks chronologically to really see their development over the years. It is such a journey! Next song after replay would be Love Like Oxygen I believe.
wooow I can't believe you thought of putting the Sherlock cover from IU and SHINee's SWC IV live performance of Clue + Note (a different mix) together! suuuuch different vibes but soooo amazing in their own right! SHINee are live performance kings. ps: SHINee's back as a tagline actually pops up in a few other songs after Sherlock! & they try all different genres not just from album to album but within one album that to call them a boy band with the more narrow range of songs would do them a disservice.
This type of production is a normal thing for concerts, even for only fanmeet (more talk, games, some performances, shorter than concert). SHINee’s Japan concert series ( separate from the Korean concerts) is also a blast. The production is massive. Last time for SHINee’s fammeet, they went around the dome in hot air balloons. I was so fun. The dome is huge (55k people) so it was great they did that.
Ahhh yessss... You're gonna end up going down the SHINee rabbit hole 🕳🐇 Recommendations are sooo hard because there's so many good things. There's a lot of famous ones that I'm sure will get recommended by others, so I'll recommend one thing from this comeback, and two older stages that I personally enjoy instead - Code stage mix (it's a compilation of Code, a b-side track from the Don't Call Me album) - Password live from the Japan Arena tour 2013, a live of a b-side track from their Japanese discography. - Why so serious from SWC5 (shinee world concert V). This one has a video clip but I personally like this performance more if I had to choose.

thanks for reacting to their live stuff - they've always been one of those groups that manage to sound even better live! I think it's partly due to having extremely talented vocalists but they have the breath control to be able to sing songs like Sherlock back to back without a break (they have several high energy songs like Sherlock in their discography). Like what another shawol said here, I'd recommend going through their other older title tracks/MVs chronologically so you can really see why SHINee is known to reinvent themselves every single comeback and the different genres they have experimented with over the years! Hope you guys enjoy your SHINee journey as much as we like watching it!

Actually before they sing this song in this concert, there is an mega intro "shinee in the house". You can hear little bit of reply and jonghyun and onew sing incredibly after that. It is quite short so I recommend you should really check it out. Thank you for your reaction.

I Tokyo dome SHINee World lV tour, They went Straight from Everybody (The craziest high energy physical choreo) into Lucifer, Burning Up and then Sherlock...I was 😱😱....how can they even breathe let alone sing! You don't really know a SHINee song until you've seen the live performance. Five members, five stars.
The best thing about Sherlock(Clue+Note) is that it is a hybrid of two other songs in their album Clue and Note, so they have a different arrangement every time they perform it. It's always fun! You should watch some of their performances from Tokyo Dome or Japanese Arena tour, their stage production is INSANE. Also, they are known for their lives since their debut.

sm artists concerts are always so well produced especially EXO and SHINEE! they are the 2 groups that I admire the most too interms of vocals and stability since i watched them live so many times they don't disappoint me. Also the senior groups are already given they are legends too (snsd, suju, tvxq and boa).

Shinee had to readjust their vocals since they lost Jonghyun in 2017 and Dont call me proved that the remaining 4 vocals are as powerful then as it is now.
Actually, along with Shinee, there are a LOT of male kpop groups with powerful vocals. And even more for solo artists. You guys mostly only reacted to the ones who focus on rapping or dancing. For example, BTOB is amazing, Seventeen is also quite good, TVXQ, SG Wannabe (although they're very old), and the list goes on.
