They sell chocopie here in Indonesia too and I LOVE them! The gooey, a lil sticky marshmallow white cream filling is a texture I've never had in any other similar snacks! But I think they don't have the caramel flavor here Have you tried wagashi? Like, those ones shaped into pretty flowers 🌸 It's probably not in konbini but just in case you encounter some in cafe or something Thank you for the short vid as always!!

The puniko cameo 💛 I've never had a chocopie, but its appearance reminds me of a treat from Pennsylvania - the whoopie pie! It's basically two small cake pieces with frosting/cream in between them. Usually chocolate cake, but it can be made with other flavors too! I once got a batch of chocolate chip ones from an Amish grocery store near my home. So tasty! I like this kind of video! Keep on trying things~

Ive tried chocopie a couple of times from sub boxes. I enjoy it with flavoured milk

i am now craving for some chocopie, but ngl, i would prolly crush that to small bits and make it as a topping for an ice cream... or prolly just dip it in coffee. hehehehe. i kinda get what u mean with the texture, i guess the filling for the regular chocopie is like smores' marshmallow -- soft and chewy and little melted. also, let ur son cook... i bet he can cook a bomb chicken dish~

Visually, Chocopies always remind me of the MoonPies from my youth (MoonPies and RC Cola, for anyone who recognizes that summer afternoon treat combo). There's no graham cracker inside so that's different. Feeling nostalgic, I bought a box of MoonPies a few years ago just on a whim. I was disappointed to learn that like most things, something in the recipe had changed over the years (likely to save money). Not only was it much smaller than the originals, but the graham cracker was drier, the chocolate coating was so thin it didn't cover everything and overall the flavors/textures seemed much more bland. I ended up giving the rest of the box to some kids. I guess Thomas Wolfe has a point when he says, "...you can't go home again."
