You know how in the actual movie, Tamatoa mostly just holds Moana and stretches her arms a bit? When I hear this, I imagine him slamming her into the wall and yanking her everywhere, this song gives off a completely seperate energy from the original and I love that.

Read this and imagine it as a scenario, it's what I feel when watching this:Various Characters from Moana actually continually reincarnate in history, and they are desperately aware of each other but cannot recognise each other without extreme difficulty.
