Supah Hackah ever since n destroyed me with his sigilyph, I fell in love with it. It's so versatile with its moveset like ice beam and flash cannon, and the magic guard allows it to run life orb (no recoil) or the flame orb set and thanks to the new move tutors, it can be a flying type that can defog without being hurt by stealth rock

Hmmm, I think Noivern and Noibat are my favorite flying types, there's plenty of good ones, but I remember something about an adorable dragon bat and wyvern Pokemon just really resonated with me in X and Y when I first saw them!

So many RE's Congrats on the Shiny Farfetch'd Ben!:D I love this series of completing the Gen 2 Shiny Dex, then you can Clone them in Gold or Silver and Transfer them to Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon and have the first two Generations of Pokemon complete for a Living Shiny Dex in Gen 7. SPOILERS and Edit: Well I am one of those scumbags who comments before they watch the whole thing. No spoiler but maybe not Congrats on the Shiny Farfetch'd Ben... ;0 Good luck Hunting later bring more Balls my guy

QOTD: the first Pokemon I ever trained competive were the Shaymin on Platinum. In Flying Type form of course. But my favorite is Rowlet. It´s my favorite Alola Starter, my favorite Poke of the actual Anime and it´s a meme. Well, both are Plants. And Plant is after Bug my least favorite typing...

He had 13 Great Balls. Who in their right mind would ever think they would need more than 13 Great Balls to catch a level 16 Farfetch'd? You can't fault him at all.

Because Farfetch'd has a catchrate of 45, which is really low. It's the same catchrate as Starter Pokemon and other Pokemon such as Salamence. The lvl has absolutely nothing to do with how easy a Pokemon is to catch, so idk why you mentioned the lvl, lol.

Gyarados! I still have fond memories of getting it off the magikarp salesman outside Mt Moon out of pity for the poor thing (thought it needed rescuing in my youth). Took it through Mt Moon and even against Blue. By the time I faced him on the SS Anne he was a fully powered-up Gyarados!

Farfetch'd in gen 2 has a catch rate of 30, which is the same as Dialga and Palkia in Platinum. Bad move to hunt this Pokemon with less than 20 great balls.

That's why I hunt post game. Especially in Ultra Sun. I have 500 Beast Balls, 999 Pokeballs, 999 Great Balls, and 999 Ultra Balls. I also have 500 Revives in case of getting knocked out. It's impossible for me to fail a shiny without Roar or SRing over it.

I would recommend catching a Scyther it learns False Swipe at 18. Also some status would help, Butterfree or Bellsprout would work.

I remember playing ultra sun the day it came out and I don't remember when in the game but at one point I encountered a shiny pokemon and the idiot I am, I payed no mine to the shiny star that came up on the Pokémon and I thought it was something else so I ended killing the shiny pokemon without even realizing. It was definitely early on in the game too. Rip
