My favorite ship dynamic is the dead inside single parent and the one that doesn’t know jack about kids.

I like it when A is popular, outgoing, parties, goes to clubs, etc., and B is a quiet nerd. But instead of B starting to go out and party and stuff, A starts playing Dungeons and Dragons or watching obscure Sci Fi shows or something.

What about a horror story ship dynamic? A is cursed to slowly transform into a hideous creature a little more every time they feel the warmth of human affection... And B is into that.

my favourite has to be "they will take on the world together, but nothing will stop them from calling each other dumbass every step of the way"

My favourite is the dynamic where A and B are just the best of friends for most of the story, working really well together and supporting each other. But if anyone was to confuse them for a couple, they would be genuinely surprised. Not, like, defensive, but they genuinely can't tell they have any feelings for each other. Like, someone mentions thinking they were together, just for the two to be utterly confused. C: So, where are you taking her for valentines day? A: What? Who? C: You know, B. A: ...Huh???

Probably my favorite ship dynamic is “two guys from different backgrounds, trying to it make work.” Edit: audio correct.

I'm a sucker for first friend ships. Especially if there is some kind of trauma or the person was super lonely before. If two characters have that dynamic I will ship them 90% of the time.

my personal favorite dynamic: are they dating, or are they best friends?? they're very physically affectionate, practically inseparable, but they never confirm nor deny whether they are together, and nobody even bothers to ask because that's just how they are

Total hottie and Simpy gremlin are my favorite if they're peestablished, because you never get the answer to how the hell that happened but whenever theyre together its always adorable. Jessica and Roger Rabbit really codified that shif

I like healthy mutual villain ships (romantic, sexual, or platonic), cause then when the heros take out their Power Of Love card, the villains can just be like "lol, uno reverse"

My absolute favorite ship dynamic is "childhood friends that become rivals/enemies but still know each other better than anyone else on the planet and would 100% sacrifice their lives and/or kill for each other despite claiming that they hate each other"

One of my favorite ship dynamics: -Lovable himbo who just can’t get the hint -The person who’s been flirting with them for a year and is both frustrated by and attracted to their obliviousness

Another ship dynamic I mildly enjoy is when person A is basically a celebrity who most people love and fawn over, which leads to their ego becoming pretty inflated and they’re secretly cocky though they act nice in front of fans. Person B doesn’t know them and doesn’t care, and treats them just like a regular person. Person A is shocked and slightly offended and over time starts to subconsciously do everything they can to get Person Bs attention (and approval), even though they pretend they also don’t care.

One of my favorites would have to be... Character A: A character that is very charismatic and charming and confident (maybe even cocky) on the outside but it is all a sham, a lie, layers upon layers of a positive persona that hides a pathetic and lonely character. x Character B: A character that can see through each and every layer and knows who they truly are. Either they love them anyway and prefer who they really are despite their flaws (bonus if they look up to them). OR they roll their eyes whenever they play up their persona, and mildly dislike them but can't help but begrudgingly protect them from whatever trouble character A has gotten themselves in. (B says and thinks they don't care, but we know the truth)

Here's mine; A is hard to get along with and hides feelings٫ both positive and negative٫ until they explode B gets along with everyone and hides their negative feelings to "protect everyone else" but is very positively expressive. Both are each other's comfort and tell the other to not hide their feelings٫ but won't take their own advice

Ive heard about a "person who can never love falling in love with a hopeless romantic" but what about a closed off person A who is secretly a hopeless romantic but hides it/can't love no matter how hard they try after so much pain, and person B, the one person they could connect and open up to. Points if person B secretly had hardship with love before too. (This is totally not reflecting off of me and my partner)

My favorite current ship dynamics are: 1. "I know we're supposed to hate each other but I really need your help with this and you're the only one I can trust." (Bonus points if the thing person A needs help with is something person B can use against them, but they choose not to.) and 2. "I know you hate me, but I don't hate you. So please let me help you, I don't want you to die/get hurt." [Bonus points if person B doesn't hate person A, but they thought person A hated them. OR, bonus points if person B doesn't hate person A, but they act like they do because they have trauma with being vulnerable to people and forming relationships. (+ the ultimate bonus, person B got hurt protecting person A)] In all honesty, both of these are enemies to lovers, with different flavored angst: 1st one is desperation, taking a leap of faith and betraying everything person A believes in for a greater cause, and the 2nd one is (mutually?) not-actually-unrequited love and pining, pushed to the limit when person B gets hurt and person A is the only who can help. (the only one person B would be willing to accept help from, even in life-threatening situations?) As you can see both of these are very familiar in theme. I love (pseudo-)enemies taking care of each other when they are vulnerable and/or emotional, and most likely pining for the other.

Ship dynamic suggestion: One person starts off being super insecure and/or self loathing, and the other person is determined to put a stop to it bc they see all the good in them and can't stand to see the person they love hating themselves. Bonus points if the second person is particularly aggressive about not letting the first person hate themselves, like "No, STOP IT! How DARE you talk shit about the love of my life like that! You are a kind and wonderful person, and I will NOT stand for you hating yourself!"

My fav ship dynamic is a classic: lovable idiot hero & kind but shy girl, she’s too reserved to confess and he’s too dumb to notice the issue there

My fav dynamic will always be the anxious, spiraling thoughts, one who seems put together on the outside + madly in love who is the only one capable of shutting their anxiety down just with a simple headpat (and they abso-fuking-lutely are aware of it).

0:15 is the exact relationship I have with somebody else. Generally I think I'm pretty chill and I try to keep a postive vibe going. However, I get to vent any chaotic energy I've been saving into my hobbies and with them. Basically, chaotic evil and chaotic good.

My favorite ship dynamic was A being cold and tough around other people but to B, they are caring and sweet. Like if A caught a guy looking at B weirdly, A would give them a death stare to intimidate them before giving a bright, loving smile at B. ☺️☺️

Me and a friend currently have a ship of our ocs. Person A has been in the millitary and had their partner (who was in the millitary with them) pass away which caused them to have a grudge to not be with anything ever again in both fear that they will lose said person but also to respect their previous partner despite knowing they would want them to move on. Person B is much newer to the millitary and is the sassy but still kind type and the two quickly start getting along (note person A and B have about a 4 year age cap so it's nothing terrible and A's precious now dead partner and them had a 2 year cap.) B has also not been in a relationship for a while due to their previous partner being toxic and them wanting a slight break from the stress. But eventually B's sassy charm starts working on A as they start feeling conflicted without B realizing and it turns into both mutually liking eachother but not seeing it and thinking it's something stupid to get over,. This ended up being a very slow burn kinda thing which the two slowly getting more and more comfortable as both sort of try and show affection without being obvious to the other to the point everybody else knows and the two are just stubborn and awkward lmao. Only recently did they just get together and are happy af. B has been able to make A come out of their shell and become more confident and happy, not having to bottle up their feelings and emotions and slowly start to heal from their problems with their new partner as the two help eachother out together, both help eachother become better versions of themselves:> (Also yes B did make the first move finally after an eternity) Feel free to ask questions about the two! I love watching these vids and seeing which dynamics apply to my oc’s. I love writing relationships like 0:38 and 4:54 especially when it goes both ways. Also the fanfic I’m working on rn technically doesn’t follow the dynamic at 0:48 since the love interest(s) aren’t really knockouts but “weird little simpy gremlin” is the best description for one of my oc characters I’m using. 4:45 is a pretty accurate description of the plot I’m working on, character A is a nerdy detective who’s accidentally unleashed an ancient evil and is trying to figure out how it works and how to stop it and save the world, and he suspects that character B is secretly working for the ancient evil entity. Character B has a major crush on character A even though they haven’t met in person and has no idea any of the major fate of the world plot stuff is even happening, he’s just tying to find a way to get with character A while being too afraid to talk to him. So character A think character B is evil while character B is busy pining from the distance, shenanigans ensue. I guess 2:50 also fits for those two. Also I realize a lot of these dynamics apply to character B and their bff in the story, they’re not gunna be a couple but their friend dynamic fits a lot of these like 0:30 6:12 and 6:51. Also I imagine that friend getting a partner that follows the dynamic at 6:38. I’ve thought a lot about these characters and I just keep adding details to their stories outside of just the fic I’m wrong rn with them.

one (friend)ship dynamic that i love is 2 people that are both extremely smart and/or are specialists in their fields, but they’re smart in completely different ways/are masters in completely different things, so when they rant at each other the other person is all like, “i don’t have a clue what you’re talking about but you go girl!” and in the rare occurrence that something happens where both their skillsets are required they work everything out SO FAST because they are galaxy-brained together

My new favorite Ship dynamic which I made up, (In Among Us) A imposter(A) who has to k!ll the crew, but he couldn't K!ll The crewmate Engineer. (B) They always fix (A's) Sabotages and they can use the vent system to get around the map. They have a torch Modifier making lights being cut useless. These 2 always defended each other till the end

I've seen so many redemption arcs for villains and while I do like it, I LOVE corruption arcs! Give me a sweet and good meaning hero who slowly over time gets corrupted by the villain/evil guy into joining their side. I want for the hero to be aware of whats happening near the end and to try to resist but they love the villain/evil guy too much now and slowly gives in willingly.

I love "attracted but not yet": they're part of a team on some job/quest and everyone, including A & B, knows they're attracted to each other but they refuse to act on it until the job/quest is done. Bonus if the test of the team is trying to get them together the whole time.

I guess I'll do it too Favorite Ship Dynamic: Character A, a polite butler to someone. But they secretly hate their boss and would kill them in a heartbeat. and Character B, usually a quiet, serious guy, but goes on lengthy, angry rants about A's boss when given the chance. It's pretty much because A's boss has done some wrong to him and he's never let it go. The two don't even get along at first until A opens up about how much they hate their boss after a stressful day and they became close ever since. To the point their relationship isn't based on the fact they hate the same person, and is now based on their trust and love for each other. Its like the ship dynamic where two characters bond over their hatred for someone but with extra additions.

My favorite is character A immortal, and Character B the one who continues to surprise A even if they claim to have seen everything
