Thanks for viewing and comment. The benefit of flat rate is that if it fits, it ships for that price. I have shipped hundreds of books and not once has someone received a bill. Put another way the weight limit is dozens of pounds. With the second example I explained that the empty space should be filled with bubble wrap to prevent the books from bouncing around (top to bottom) because there would be no side to side motion give the cut of cardboard. How much bubble wrap is dependent upon the brick being assembled. I have also come up with another method that I’ll share at some point. With all of these examples, I have had hundreds of shipments with all sorts of books with zero issues which is what gave me the confidence to record this video. And, you’re right, you can certainly add cardboard to a slab but it is not necessary. At the end of the day, people should do what make sense to them. Thanks again.

This is a tough one because I don’t have hard and fast rules. I have very few of these books in my collection. With that said, I do have books from the 90s that are still in polybags. If you have multiples I guess you could open them for reading or you could read a digital version. As far as storage, an oversized poly bag and board might work for protection-put the entire comic and polybag inside. 🤷🏾‍♂️😀

I am a fan of the Gemini shippers. They are well constructed and protect the books well. Knock on wood, I have never had an issues. With the wrap you also protect them from the elements-a little. 😂

My guess is that this type of box is pretty expensive. You might be better off having FedEx bubble wrap the individual Gemini shippers then dropped them until a box. That’s how I use to send my shipments before I started returning the CGC shippers. FedEx has multiple box sizes and can add bubble wrap to fill in extra space. If you really want the thick cardboard try Uline.

Not sure that I'm following the question so I'll answer it this way. I've sent hundreds of books to CGC and hundred more across North America with zero issues with the various methods outlined in my videos on shipping. Hope this helps.
