Rather than have to write on each bag, you could take color-coded labels, you know the little circle kind that you use at garage sales? You could colorcode each order by putting a sticker on the bags and that is how you could keep them separate. Just a tip!
That’s also a great idea! I write on the bags so i can make sure there’s no room for mistake, i write out the customers name as it is in the app, first name and last initial. With the tabs you have to remember which order is which if you are stacking 3 or more orders. But, any way of separating orders is better than no way! 🤗
Tyra The Creative That makes sense! I didn’t even realize when I made thiscomment that they actually have labels for this that you can order from the Shipt website. The app color coded the person’s name for you and it coordinates with one of their 4 label colors.

You have no idea. The little candy with notes literally saved me. I had such a bad day and I got one from my door dash order. It made such a difference to me that day. I needed that so bad.
Tip: Another option - use a small lightweight crossover purse with a charger inside. You can keep your phone charging while shopping in the store. The charger cord goes from inside the purse to the phone, but it never gets in the way. The phone goes in the outside pocket of the purse, so it’s easy to access or put away.
Thank you for the cart recommendation. Great video One! One tip I have, is I use tomato or banana boxes to put in your trunk or back of the car. It helps separate your orders and keeps items from rolling around when driving.
You're right about setting yourself apart. I do IC (just signed up for Shipt) and always I leave a personalized note with every order and customers love that. I communicate with them during the shop. Sometimes it's about an out of stock item and sometimes it's to ask what time their tacos will be ready (or whatever they're cooking) lol. They get a kick out of it! Easy way to get 5 stars and increased tips.

Amazing tips and tricks. Great break down. I'm going to go and do this on my day off Sunday. My first day doing it. I've done uber, Lyft, door dash and post mates and a private delivery company just like post mates back in 2014 before these delivery apps hit big and i never thought it would become a viable option for a job but sounds like people are making great money and enjoying doing it. I spoke to a shipt shopper in the grocery store I work at. He said he's made 700 in a week here in Charlotte only workin 5 hours a day. That's awesome.
i shop for Instacart and let me tell you-that voice to text advice is a game-changer. It makes so much sense but never dawned on me to do that until I watched one of your other videos where you shared that tip! Great tips!

I'm curious to ask why you think we should be required to wear the shirt I wore mine for the first 2 weeks and had nothing but people asking me questions about the company and it took a lot of my time not to mention the fact that my shirt was but ugly green! Needless to say I don't wear it anymore

Where do you guys live that you're able to do more than two orders in an hour it would be physically impossible where I live most of the people live at least 20 minutes from the store they want you to shop at
@@200mphBrian I live in southern California, it was super busy at first but now it's so slow and hard to get more than one order per hour. Saturday and Sundays are the only days to make good money now :(
I’m a worker in a grocery store and the shipt shoppers that don’t wear their shirts confuse me. I don’t know if they are a customer browsing or if they are looking for something
My boyfriend does Shipt on the side. He doesn't feel comfortable wearing the shirt because he thinks customers will constantly come up to him and ask questions about Shipt and what it is. He knows a lady who does Shipt alot and she had people come up to her about the shirt she was wearing. I'm sure they're curious but he doesn't like to be bothered by strangers while he shops for someone. 😂 I also understand why some people wear the shirt.
I LOVE doing deliveries only most of all. Shopping is exhausting because of people. CVS, Best buy, party city & bed bath n beyond deliveries keep me busy all day long & A few Target shops & I'm more than taken care of
I’ve never done a bed bath and beyond delivery. If I went to bed bath and beyond I would end up shopping for myself! But you make a good point, shopping is pretty tiring.
@@TyraTheCreative yes, totally do deliveries!! You don't have to deal with exponentially annoying people as when your on a shop. It's a game changer for me. We're lucky out here being in Los Angeles & the San Fernando valley because there are sooooooo many people who want stuff delivered & spend a LOT of money

Oh I love Target and smart n final!!!! I don’t take food co, they always seem low pay and for me I love that both target and smart n final have aisle location... food co is like huge grocery’s store and your hunting!

6:35 If someone asked me “Hey I noticed you got chocolate ice cream but there is also vanilla ice cream would you like that as well?” I would be like?? Did I ASK for vanilla ice cream? I said chocolate! I would find that extremely annoying.

About the Shipt shirts: depending on where one lives the shirts can be a problem, especially in the winter or chilly days. Here in the Midwest, we have to wear layers to keep warm so wearing a thin T-shirt will be a problem. Also uncomfortable if one would put it over thicker layers. I work for Instacart and our stores know us when they see us, we move differently. I also prefer not to stick out like a target. Yes, it's true it will draw attention and it becomes a distraction to the shopper.

I live in Illinois and I did my first Shipt yesterday we have a store here called Meijer and OMG the aisles are labeled perfectly! I ran into trouble with produce almost with every order 🙄
