Dame Shirley Bassey is exactly what you want in a Diva. She's a stellar vocalist, arguably in the Top 10. She's consistent live, theatrical, emotive, glamorous and captivating
It's been soooooo many years since I've heard Shirley Bassey's beautiful, powerful voice! That was back when singers performed with live musicians on TV specials and variety shows. Thank you for sharing!
This is why I don’t care about “lists” like the rolling stone 200. It’s just bullshit. Shirley wasn’t that huge in the states so she doesn’t get the Grammys or recognition. Absolute legend. One of the most incredible singers ever. And still slaying in her 80s.
This is why those of us in Britain who grew up on Shirley and her many, many TV shoes and appearances despair of lack of talent today. There is literally no one else like her and no one to match her.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE react to her performance of Till. It is honestly one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen in my life. It was my granny’s song. You will not be disappointed
The only true diva in popular music, the only popuular singer who could have sung opera. The real true professional, the most emotive singer, I could go on cause she is so wonderful, a true living legend.
Pls react to Shirley Bassey “If I Never Sing Another Song”. It’s from the same show, hair looks exactly like this. I promise you it’s more than worthwhile. And this quality’s top tier. Never thought I’d hear it like this 🔥.
Aaaaahhh Shirley...one of the Greats!♥ Please can you do a reaction to Streisand live singing Don't Rain On My Parade..the upload by Kaze776? And /or Cecilia Bartoli
I know nothing about music but have read 3 biographies on Dame Shirley Bassey and someone said she was only singer ( non operatic) who could had a 3 octave range?? I do prefer her mature performances when she’s stopped pulling her mouth down ( on left). Apparently I adored her her as a toddler ( parents weren’t fans) and revived my admiration after seeing her at the 2022 BAFTA awards. What a PERFORMER!!!!!!! Absolutel class , charisma and the voice. I wish I’d seen her live in concert. 😢
