I'm a fan of Ramzi. Huge Fan. Stoked to see him on the CT and his performances show he's worthy. Those are great stats. I just know competing at Teahupoo is a difficult transition. I'm not saying he can't do it, I just think he needs experience. By the way, he's going to destroy Punta Roca if its good. Wow.
@@OldSurfDad I got you no worries, it’s just that you guys will have to deal with us mentioning his name at least until next year’s cut. He’s the only one we got bear with us haha 🇲🇦🦁
People say the name of my town where I live wrong all the time and nobody cares. Water off a ducks back. In my opinion , people have too much time on their hands if we're getting upset over chopes or tea hooooopo , Political correctness gone mad, chopes it is. 😂 Its in Australian history to shorten names. Barry would be "bazz" , Andrew "andy". Michael "mick". It would be rude not to call it chopes 😂
Yes. They will meet in the quarters (unless they both go to the Elim round - doubtful) I have an argument for doing this..I think one of them will win the event. I'm taking a risk here and giving up points to get one of them in the Semis and then Finals. Is it most likely friendly fire? Yes! Not recommended. I'm also heavily relying on Caroline to make it through for the brackets. Let's see how it turns out. Please let me know your power surfer. These are great heats. Thanks for this comment and calling me out!
@@OldSurfDad I've got Molly. I been searching for footage of Caitlin taking off under the lip on a left, last year she did great but her big scores were on roll ins. If its small-medium and clean I think that taking off under the lip is going to be a crucial skill to have in the arsenal. I feel good about Molly and Vahine here. If its consistent and clean I think that Vahine will be extremely hard to beat, maybe she will struggle to get super super deep but thats the only real negative I can think of. Caitlin is so adaptable though so could pull it out and surprise me. This has been the hardest comp to pick and I can't believe I don't have Carissa in my team, that will forever haunt me if I get that call wrong. Good luck!
@@georgeeason8909 Here's a video from 2022 of Caity surfing in Teahupoo. It's small, but the skills are there. I like Molly too. They are so close and Molly seems to be the favorite in larger surf, but I'm caught up on Caity's skills and as you put is so well - 'adaptability'. Can't wait to watch this event!
