Interesting thing is: For the last 100 years or more (That is in the modern era), people with various agendas (Religion, caste based, humanitarian, feminist etc.) have tried to criticize Shivaji Maharaj, but their criticisms were always found to be disingenuous and never stuck. Shivaji Maharaj always came out looking modern in all aspects. Truely, the greatest leader in the history of India if not the world!
