One of my favourites on the album, especially when played in order with the others. This album's way older than I am so I'm glad I found it :)

Probably my favorite song on that album. Saw them live in Dallas back in '89, and was blown away...they are so good live❤

Yet another awesome reaction to an awesome song. Just to make you aware, at the end of the first verse the high voice you hear is actually Roland & not Oleta. He has such a huge range. Looking forward to Songs from the big chair. As well as the massive hits on that watch out for The Working hour and the last track Listen, it’s mesmerising.

Roland 's voice... In this song... just blows my mind.... so talented 👏 I have the same reactions when I listen it over and over... Its never enough listening for year of the knife , its an obsession 😅

Hi Matt, awesome reactions. I was wondering if you ever thought of reacting to Depeche Mode and Tears For Fears music videos? There are a lot of them here on RU-vid. The only thing would be to pause the video while sharing your thought about it as you view them (Copy Write reasons). Thanks again.

Hello again! And yeah, even without the music-videos, my reactions have occasionally gotten blocked (a couple in the last few days, even). But the main problems for me reacting to RU-vid videos are (1) my computers aren't situated well for shooting videos (as they're facing the opposite way, so I'd have to readjust the way I shoot, and even then, I don't think it would work as well or look as good), and (2) my video- and audio-editing and technology skills are dinosaur-esque in some ways, so I'm not even sure I'm capable of syncing the sound from a video with my own commentary through a mic, at least not without a painful learning curve. So basically I might expand to that eventually, but I am somewhat hampered by my own technological limitations.

@@barbarylions I will try to make it happen, though. I need to get one of my tech-savvy friends from grad-school to come over to my place and help me figure it out. I'll keep you apprised. If I do get that up and running, you can pick the first RU-vid video I react to. :)

@@mattsnider2667 Sounds good. If you can get that accomplished, I would choose "The Tipping Point" from Tears For Fears latest album and "In Your Room" from Depeche Mode. No hurries, though. Take your time to get things just right.

I'm going to do what I said---reach out to a very computer-skilled fellow historian I was in grad school with and see if he can't help me come up with a solution. And you got it, if I can get this going, those will be the first two videos (with pauses, as you mentioned!). Cheers. :)
