GOvt should wake up now, and stop this kind of malpractices that EPFO is involved in. EPFO is for employee social benefits and not for some kind of investigation. This should be totally on employee if they want to reveal if they have worked in which all companies by means of providing 'Experience Letter'.., and only mode of verfiication should be based on these letters and not by using Income tax or EPFO route.. this is utterly nonsense .

Good initiative.. I think this is one sided story and has loop holes. 1> How did EPFO created a PF account without that person's UAN number or written application or aadhar card.? 2> What are the details that he has shared with the employer even before joining? This is generally done in Induction day only for any employee.. This employee can create the case on corresponding EPFO office not the Company.. This is one USELESS government organization.

Or jiska sab genuine hoga woh candidate v best perform karega iski kya guarantee hai? Or main topic hai EPFO me itna galat updates dena. You are not clear. Usually a join cut-off date hote hay. If not join offer is withdrawn and no onboarding happens. Here he must have completed onboarding.

Thank you for mentioning the company name, i got a call from the same company and i knew about this incident. So i told the hr that i am not interested in the first place. Many friends of mine are doing the same. If they get a call from any Indian service based mnc they are telling the hr that they are not interested

Before joining who will share UAN number additionally without filling EPFO form Capgemini can’t report anything to epfo. Ramesh Babu kuch to jhol kiye hai. 😂. Whatever you have mentioned if this is happened then Ramesh can file a criminal case for extortion against HR.

Somewhat similar incident happened wuth me , when I joined Capgemini Bangalore, the senior HR have agreed upon on some lpa amount , then I shared my documents to them, then some junior HR called me on phone and reduced my ctc by 2 lacs and told that we have other good candidates in pool for this position and you have not performed very well in interviews.

I was applying for job in capgemini and they are asking UAN no. Upfront, I wondered why they asking directly UAN no. So might be its their practice, not going to work with them. Added to blacklist, capgemini & TCS

There is an easier method. Just raise a complaint to the labour department online that Capgemini is not paying EPFO and salary since the company already registered the name in EPFO company is bound to reply that the candidate has not joined. That reply is enough for new job

This specific company doesn't allow you to withdraw pf or transfer pf to your current pf once you resign. It is a common problem only with this specific company others easily transfers the pf to your new employer pf account. My pf is pending for 3 years, every time they give different reason and rejects my pf transfer. Very sad.

Us se koi fark nahin padta hai, see if you worked in a company and you did not get relevant experience in that company you can leave that company and it is on the candidate to show that company in resume or not. At the time of joining of company you must not an employee to the other company and you have Date of Leaving mentioned in EPFO portal. What matters is you MUST not work in two companies at same time. You should not be absconding You have papers for your releiving and certificate of experience.

In this case I have a questions, I worked for two companies, I am not showing those companies in my resume. Reason : 1) The work I did there was different from profile. 2) That is not the part of my relevant experience 3) the tenure was shorter than 5 months in both cases. Will the BGV company go and check those comapnies as well which are not mentioned in my resume?

You can mention those companies in resume but mention it as non-relevant experiences. Companies in BGV check the PPF accounts through UAN numbers, and if found any discrepancies, your BGV can fail.

You can mention those companies in your resume and you can make up something that would be relevant to your domain. Just make sure to put correct joining and relieving date and the designation coz that's what third party bgv companies mostly verify, whatever points you are mentioning in the resume(technical stuff I mean) won't be understood by people responsible for your clearance so just relax.

Without someone's signature on a valid declaration form no organization will be able to open or start EPF contributions into your UAN account. It requires consent from the owner of the UAN account. Secondly, a history in EPFO can only show up if and only if there is a salary credit from any organization. Only when there is a successful salary credit will your EPFO get a contribution from the employer and yourself. Joining an organization and mapping the PF number itself takes 10 to 15 days. This doesn't sound factually correct. Also there are no sources cited in this video for this case so the Information in this video shouldn't be taken at face value.

​@@CorporateKahani So going through it, there are gaps that are still not clear. For example, the person shared their redacted EPFO statements and salary slips but not the mail communications and DOJ from the offer letter. Why not share them is strange. From the EPFO snaps its clear that there were salary credits so this person definitely received salary and also signed off on PF documents for the organization to start making the deposits. The point is that this takes time and does not happen overnight. The X (Twitter) thread shows a pic of a legal notice to the person claiming the exact duration of his employment which is definitely more than one day. The negative salary adjustment only makes me think that maybe this person hurriedly accepted the offer and the offer could have had a bond/penalty clause. Maybe the person did not read it, signed it digitally and unfortunately such an acceptance would be legally binding. Without these pieces of information this is just a FB post and thread on X (Twitter). Having competing offers is not at all a problem but if you have in anyway signed off on a document that is legally binding then it will be messy. As working professionals we too have to understand this, especially freshers.

Bhai employee lig bhi 10 companies se offer le ker join nahi kertay. Ya phir negotiation mein apna candidatour fassa dete hain. Bina employee consent ke company will not open any epfo account.

I am just speculating. Assuming everything that was mentioned is true, this is what could have happened: Generally, the company schedules the joining of multiple candidates on the same day. This individual may have procrastinated until the last minute, informing HR that they would join. Probably, HR would have made a list of candidates who would be joining on that day. Our hero holds onto the offer letter until the last moment and sends an email one day before indicating that they will not join. HR, due to ignorance, would have sent the list to the on-boarding team. The entire process would have created their login, email, PF, etc. The moral of the story is: Don't hold onto the offer until the last moment; send your reply within one week, indicating whether you accept or reject the offer.

@@MrPS98 yes, when you are joining a company you have to fill up a separate EPFO form and give the URN details. This guy must have done it hence His name is on the EPFO employee list of Capgemini. If he had no intention to join Capgemini, then he should not have filled the EPFO form. I am not commenting on the money part. He can directly reach EPFO to resolve the issue.

Most of the product based companies and famous Big 4 (EY,PWC,KPMG,Delliot) these companies open India pacific branch and these branches are take over by tcs, Infosys management and believe me those guys are real snakes 🐍 and turning these companies into same tcs , Infosys

Switch it , you will get more satisfaction in product based companies. If you have cracked into the company then you definitely know how to code well enough to accomplish your job. The only thing that might differ is how they follow certain standards and how they review your work , security constraints etc that service based companies don't follow . These things are minor and you would get acquainted in no time. Also you will get time to get adjusted and scrum masters won't trouble you at all.

@@KolkataCityDrive : Don't you mask your URN while providing the payslip before getting the joining letter?? You approach is quite backdated. Companies can't proceed with creating EPF account unless you fill up the EPFO details form. Each company has separate EPF no which are clubbed under a single URN. EPFO form requires manual/ digital signature and nominee details which the office can't fill by themselves. Candidates need to provide this. These are basic common senses and please study some of the EPFO norms before commenting.

@@sasa17258 Not every organisations allowed to mask URN ,moreover until employees signed PF documents during joining day , they should not open EPF account . URN is mandatory to share for pre background checks for some companies like TCS . You have very limited knowledge

@@KolkataCityDrive : If someone is not joining then why s/he will submit the documents on the joining day?? My reply was on the reference of the video only. I am also an employee of a CMMI 5 organisation with over 13 years of exp and I managed a team who does the background check. Unless you are an employee of the organization the background check will never be started. Companies will not waste money on every XYZ candidate. There is nothing called a pre-background check. Only an initial reference check is done on the basis of Release Letters and it starts only after the offer letter is issued.

All the documents are mandatory to share with the next employer even before 2 months to initiate background verification process, which includes payslip with URN . May be few startup’s are exclusion but observed this for TCS CTS Wipro EY PWC Accenture

Either your picked source is false or you are misleading ppl just to gain more subscribers. No company can harass/ do such acts legally. I have 7+ years of exp in IT and would say all companies are great if you have a mind, positive attitute and skill set.

Simple baat hai agar capgemini offer di hai aur keh rahi hai ki employee ka pf wo generate ki hai to salary kaha hai for that period. Jo new company hai wo jada problem create ki hai , jab employee dikha raha hai 0notice period, 0 time spend to new company ko samjha na chahiye

I think it's right think to do in order to teach lesson to employees who take interviews in multiple companies even after getting intial offer. You have understand these companies go through hiring process and has cost involved.
