Star Yamaha are having trouble funding J Coop on the team, now that Eli is not retiring. So, no chance in hell could they support Eli, Cooper Webb, J Coop and Kenny as none of these riders would take a pay cut. Don't forget they have to keep a 450 space for Deegan and he will want a big paycheck as well.

I just don’t think Kenny will make the move to star. For one I think Star wants to keep it a 2 man team for next year, and making Kenny a 3rd rider would mean a SIGNIFICANT pay cut for him, as he is one of the most lucrative and highly paid athletes in the sport. Next reason being he just can’t leave Red Bull. As you said in the video, they have been in a partnership practically his entire career, from Germany to the US. It would be a MASSIVE decision on his part to part ways from Red Bull after such a long run. It’s not very often that a rider that has a personal sponsorship with an energy drink company will leave for another one. The most recent example of that happening was Sexton, as he had a personal sponsorship with monster before moving to Red Bull KTM. Webb moving from KTM to Star wasn’t quite as crazy with that deal as he was a Red Bull athlete through the team, not really through personal deals. I think it would be a pretty large shakeup for Kenny and the Star team, and a MASSIVE loss for Suzuki who were finally seeing some success after many years without even making a podium

there’s just no way roczen can go to star, first off he will lose his red bull deal that he’s had basically since he’s come over from europe, but also there are rumors that star can’t even afford justin cooper which is a lot cheaper than ken roczen. Also ken wouldn’t be the number 1 rider on star which he is on hep. it just doesn’t makes sense to star or ken ti be on the bike. if he went to yamaha it would gave to be a team like club so that he could be the number 1 as well as convince them into keeping his red bull contract.
