Just Why!! Why do the parents put their kiddies in possible danger. Read The Signs. No blame on that Stunning Horse nor our Trooper doing their job. Respect Respect Respect 🤯🤯🤯
I'm sorry the child got bitten by the horse but it's the father's fault for putting that baby in that situation. It's amazing how these tourist actually thinks that this is a fun park and not real soldiers.
The odds of being bitten by a horse in a “fun park” are about the same as the the odds of being bitten here. All horses have their bad days. Whether the soldiers are “real” is immaterial. But I agree with you completely that the father should never have put the child in that situation. Poor baby. (And poor horse!)
@@pamelakerr405when the lighting gets dark, father walks up with the baby at the 29:53 mark, and they both pet the horse. Then the horse "bites" the baby's calf. Don't blame the horse at all. It's what they do when they don't want to be touched. The signs have been getting more explicit. Wouldn't be surprised if they soon say do not touch the horse, reins, or rider. Or put marks on the pavement with signage to not cross.
The people who really really annoy me,are the ones who come up really close to the horse for a photo. The horse turns it’s head to be friendly, and they then push its head away,as if sayingI don’t want your slobber all over me.🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
A perfect reason that no one should be able to get near the horses. First, the little girl runs right up to the horse alone. Then, the father brings the chid up too close. People have no idea of horse behavior. I cannot understand why people are allowed to even pet the horses. Much less try to lay up against them like a lot of the young women do.
This is becoming a circus! When are the authorities going to put a stop to it? Can you imagine the stress these guys and their horses face every day? Especially when the devil Karen with that horrible cackle shows up! It’s so frustrating!!!😢
For a Few idiotic parents, could put the horses into danger.. Leave a large space between yourselves and the horses.. in other words, use COMMON SENSE.
Why do tourists think they are horse whisperers. Leave them and their guards alone and admire them from a distance please They are not a side show at a local fair.
As a horse trainer and someone who trains riders as well. We have families with small kids around all the time. I always tell the parents, "If you want a picture with your son/daughter on the horse and you have a young child, PUT THE YOUNG CHILD AWAY FROM THE HORSE!!!" The reason being that young children smell different than older children. They have a sweeter smell to them to the horse. So I'm not surprised at all that the horse bit that child. Not to mention, that child looked to be still in diapers. And that smell is also offensive to the horse. Just my thoughts and opinions after 50 + years with horses and 30 + years as a trainer/teacher. From a Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦
It getting to the point that Tourist should be told to keep 5 feet away from the horse. I can not believe how IGNORANT people are, I have two horses, the largest is 1000 lbs., the smallest 900 lbs. It only takes one quick movement by a horse, and someone can be seriously injured. Parents are so stinking ignorant, a horse can bite off your child's ear, finger, heck even your ear. One swift kick, and someone can be dead in an instant. Not the horses fault, they are just reacting. The number of people that constantly touch these horses mouths, makes me nuts. That is one of the most sensitive areas for a horse. Its no surprise they bite so often, on top of people's inability to RESPECT the HORSES space!! This is NOT a PETTING ZOO!! These are working animals!!
I don't think the majority of the people who like to pose with horses have any idea or knowledge about horses ! I know the signs are in English they do warn the horses may bite or kick! I'm sure people watching have seen the horses try to nip/ Bite while waiting for their turn! Don't put your child in harm's way and definitely don't let your child run up to the horses! Although these horses are well trained they are still fight or flight animals and will most probably choose the latter , if you are in their path chances are you will be mown down! And another thing horses muzzles / noses are sensitive it irritates me to see people constantly touching them... It's no wonder they get grumpy! And jumping and shouting around them too is annoying!
That man had no brain cells, the horse has been trying to bite people the entire time so he puts his child as close as possible while protecting himself.
This is the sort of thing that will prevent tourists from being any where near the horses. When the horse behaves like this he is distressed and is telling you he is! That man should be charged with child endangerment. The other small child could have caused the horse to strike out, he cannot see directly beneath his head and could be startled and frightened as to what is there! The sooner tourists are kept away the better. Sad for the little one, but father was definitely at fault.

Those gals that think they are fashion models make me LOL
The video is faulty, from 29:45 it is too dark to watch, can you fix it and upload it again? It might be with checking before you upload to sort out any faults.
Credit to you for not showing in full. The poor child.ultimayely the guardians fault for shoving it at the horse. The trooper did press the button but the family had moved away before help arrived
Presumably to reduce visibility of the child being bitten. The photographer put his name at various points on the screen during it being darkened, to indicate, it seemed to me, that it was intentional.
Which one do we report to Child Protective Services to? The mom who gave permission to the guy to feed her child to the horse or the guy who is asleep at the switch when the horse came for his shirt, the baby is next. Poor baby is scared for life now, will never look at a horse the same way again.
Animals are not irrational, there behaviours and responses are easily seen as rational responses to what is going on for them. Its our expectations of them that is irrational and unrealistic
It's only 1 hour they are there it's not all day as I heard someone say in the background, they then get a few hours off .tourists need educating, and parents at crazy letting a child that close to a horse wherever it is royal guard or just a random field somewhere would they let them run up to a strange dog in a park,
Guess they will have to post "drawings" showing the horse biting, kicking or running over someone!! If the tourists even bother to LOOK at the pictures since they CAN'T read English!! I have much respect for the guards and beautiful horses and they deserve at least two feet of space all around them!! And definately no huge crowds around them at once!!
Dad’s fault. I’ve watched that clip over and over, but still can’t believe dad was that careless with his baby. The child will never forget the scare. And, that injury will take more than a ‘bandaid’ to heal, if ever….i feel so bad for the child. EDIT: Does anyone know what happened later? Is the child ok?
😟That really came out of nowhere-- the horse must have been startled by the two heads right at eye level... plus a stuffed animal. I don't know, just unfortunate. 🙁
I'm sorry the little one got bitten and I hope it's not too serious but the adult just about fed the little one to the horse, why would you hold the child so close to horse without making sure they were not to close. These poor horses must get stressed with all these people always in their space and not giving them the respect to breath. If somebody got that up in my face I'm afraid I might be tempted to bite them too
It's a wonder the Guards don't fall asleep with just being still, sitting on the horse for a long time in addition to not talking. It's seems like it could be boring. 😴 🙄
@@jacquelinepeters3575 I only started watching 3 weeks ago. Since then, I learned that the Guards change off every hour which surely is a good thing for the horse and guard.
There most certainly was a call for help. Just like every other occasion that a mounted guard calls for help, it took the form of the guard pressing the alarm button. There was no “click bait”.
Poveri cavalli...quanto stress !!!!
