Omg I was crying laughing at this. "Now first lost may be coming by Anand will drink some... drink ssssss.... sssoooommee..." Sounded like his battery ran down mid sentence. Lmao
As someone who doesn't follow chess, I'm thinking that this Anand guy is just some random good player that will have a story to tell his grand kids in the future, but I looked him up and he's been world champion for a combined 8 years. And he was born in 69.
Indians have done great things yet remain humble. Do look up our contributions in mathematics, science etc. With as much as the cost of an average Hollywood movie, we sent a satellite to the moon
Some commentators are still not reconciled to anand , even after him being world champion for 8 years. If he wins, emphasis only the blunder his opponent committed. If no obvious blunder from opponent , emphasize anand had home preparation (agadmator). It would all be draws without mistakes from one player.
Russian are our brothers... No Racism plzz.. Its the same, u call a rikshawala bhai to speak english for tourist... even if they didnt understand they will not think him dracula. but respect him
Let game be a game to play. Why to you compare a defeated with a son/child... A win cannot make you a ready-made father of son..... Every player is important..
Luis Leal Well, he is a Grandmaster. And was on top of the ranking for a long time. Was also the World champion till 2013,(when Magnus beat him). See the blunder Vishy makew in game 9 of world championship.
@@aravindaraman8667 wth? I have some indians friends and all of them have great attitude, but i hate those ppl like you who make such these racisms. Everyone can be good in chess and Don't forget that.... The greatest chess untill now player is Norwegian!
2:00 It amazes me when these commentators know so much about chess. I feel like such a beginner. Right her he know exactly what Magnus will do, and moves the piece in advance (Kc2).
Since he is a commentator, I think it's actually legit to criticize (but not hate) an accent. If the audience doesn't like the commentator, you have to exchange the commentator. I btw found him to be quite funny to listen to^^
Ashwath Ner you know humanity is dead when there are 0 people alive. No one is "hating" on his accent. People are critical, there is a fucking difference. It is completely valid.
Irineos Kal it's a draw if only anand accepts carlsen's offer. And it would be fucking dumb if you had a huge advantage and accept your opponent's draw offer.
I really admire Anand and Casparov. They were unbeatable in their prime time and achieved everything. It’s their retirement age and still occasionally beat the bests of current time. They are the absolute legends. I am sure Carlson at Anand’s age will be a garbage.
@@alberthuang4868 you could reply in a good faith rather you chose to degrade Vishy! Obviously these are those bragging Indians who boast in everything and yet hadn't achieved on their own! Vishy is an absolute legend! Being from a family of FM, I can tell you I followed chess since my childhood and know what feat is achieved by Vishy! Magnus is definitely not on that degree yet but his play style is getting ruined these days! He definitely wouldn't be a garbage (that was really a cursed provoking word, I feel offended too) but would be similar to kramnik of present time!
At 1:20 I think it is MC's move and will give up either the knight or bishop. He did move the knight but to a wrong position. That position allowed him to take a pawn that was already trapped. Had he moved correctly he would have been able to take the pass pawn while giving up his bishop. From there he need only to get an opportunity to take Anand's last and trapped pawn. Or he could have offered a draw which would Anand probably would have accepted. However, given just a bit of position and with so many pawns MC should have continued trying to win. Another mistake was moving his pawn forward... he had a king impass and a long way to go to get around that barricade of pawns. If Magnus wins it means Anand has to make some huge blunders. Instead of toggling his rook Anand should be maneuvering his king.
@@papoorva9 No if he does KNc5 -the Knight attacking passed pawn, then Anand would just advance the pawn. That pawn is a threat and not trapped completely. A better move would be Kc2, and he did later, but too late. In the end MC can draw.
There was a grandmaster once upon a time that said "to take is a mistake". Well Carlsen learned the hard way. He looked like he wanted to take that pawn so badly it was physically hurting him. :P
Carlsen's lonely pawn soldiers on to the edge of the chequered world. The voyage through unending turbulence finally pays off and the petty cannon fodder has now transformed into an all powerful Queen--the living picture of vengeance... who then got unceremoniously ran over by Anand's reckless rook. Yeah, life sucks.
11:45 I'm no expert, but i would've played Nb4. Either take Rxb4, Kxb4, a2, g8=Q+, and Qxa2 after the king moves. Or don't take the knight, in which case Kb3, looking to take the pawn. If the rook moves to take the knight, promote the pawn.
