SHOCKING UPDATE: Property Tax VALUE FRAUD

Property Value Fraud affects almost every property owner in the United States and even in Canada. (Roughly 144,000,000 in U.S.)
It is critically important for this series of videos to be sent to every single person who pays real estate tax in both countries as all of us need each others help. Property Value Fraud does not discriminate between party lines. Roughly 37% of the households (multifamily and single family) will go bankrupt and or lose their homes as a result of the fraudulent real estate tax scam being perpetrated on all of us, regardless of party affiliation. I have received emails from people having to decide whether to put on the table or keep a roof over their head or forgo medicine!
If every person would take a few minutes to forward this link • Home Value Fraud to their friends, family, associates, X, Truth Social, Realtor groups, etc. and ask them to move it forward in the same manner, that would be immensely helpful to inform the public. If they will then go sign the petition, that will help with the Judges as we move forward on the current Constitutional suit.
Each video in the series is specifically designed to layout the case and evidence, as the depth of the problem is extremely deep so we are peeling the onion one layer at a time. We are stating names and how the crimes are being committed.
There is power in numbers and elections matter. The more people that protest to bankrupt the Appraisal Districts, and the more attorneys that will participate across the U.S. to file Constitutional Law Suits the faster these crimes against humanity will stop.

My 80 year old grannies house was built by one of her ancestors, like her great or gr. gr. grandfather, about 125 years ago, on land they paid off ages ago after they got it in the Oklahoma Land run, and she still pays property tax on the 40 acres. Wth!!??!!?? 😅

Can't....property taxes are used to fund things like public schools. Since school from k-12 is a right in this country, it has to be funded by taxes...so even if doesn't come from property taxes, it will be taken our of your check instead. There is no escaping it.

Here in FL, too! I believe! Our neighbor across the street according to some real estate sites are paying approx. $1k less in property taxes than we are and their home is one year older, they have 300 more square footage than we do, same number of BR/BA, we have 0.96 acres and they have 0.95 acres and a carport. Estimated market value for us is $156,500 for them is $217,500. We have a homestead exemption. We are both seniors and disabled. Our neighbor down the same street has four square feet less, same acreage, one less bath and are paying almost $1k more than us!!! Something is wrong with this picture!

This is not sarcasm. But look up the definition of legal and lawful. Those two are separate and distinct. The people are being governed by statutes, codes, and policies. Under the color of law, they are legal. Under the constitution, they're unlawful.

I protested my property tax in tarrant county,Tx. The tax lady that brought up comparable home values was trying to tell me a home facing the park and lake was a good comparison,I am no where near a park or lake.I showed her a list of over dozen homes that sat for over 9 months and Not sold, there were several price reductions and still no sale.I think public needs to know what software tax dept. uses to come up with values,it is cleary very wrong

Jackson County, MO here. My property taxes went up 46% in 2023. Some went up as much as 200%. Our max is supposed to be 15%. The county has been sued. They've been told they need to roll back appraisals, but they're going to continue to use OUR money to fight the ruling.

They just revealed that there was a 15% max law in place and they violated that. The radio coverage of this scandal seems to have been better than television coverage? @ryans5747 Correct, as Johnson County KS just released over 280k letters to inform residents of the 15%+ increase coming as they are giving them 90 day’s notice. I too have been fighting Jackson Co as many neighbors and friends have sat on their hands as they have not had an increase....... yet. I believe it’s coming again in an even more brazen Jackson County Executive and fraudulent assessments will double down.

When big coroporations will buy all the homes then they pass the property tax to you and will insist to buy insurance too, and then you would be on their terms like big tech companies. When tech companies started they were building and won't censor and restrict people but now they are so big and no competition they tell public how to behave and what to post and not post on their platforms otherwise they block you. And same is going to happen for jobs and homes if you let them buy.

Property tax money is used to pay for local projects, such as sewer or water improvements, fire protection, law enforcement, and public education. It can also be used for highway and road construction, maintenance, and public libraries. Anything that benefits the community can receive money from property taxes. Now I'm not disagreeing with this video or this commentor I'm just providing the answer asked as to why we hav me to pay property taxes

In reality there is so much fraud, waste, and abuse of the money they recieve as it is totally wasted on rediculious projects and expantions that are not needed. Also, the work they pay for is so shoty because we have no quality control anymore to recieve quality. This is the very reason roads need to be repaved every 3 years instead of 10 to 15 years back in the 80's and 90's. They use garbage asfault. Pops and Moms Houses are Exempt from (Ad Valorem) Taxation as there is Not Recorded Business Activities in their (County/Township) Jurisdiction, therefore there is No Business "Situs" and No Legal Bases to TAX NON-Commercial Properties. TAX CODE simply misapplied.. What that means??? Means 80% or all "Residential" / Private Properties are NOT SUBJECT TO TAXES BY LAW as they are not Involved in any Ad Valorem Business Activity by State Created "Entity".. Look UP "TAXPAER" definition in your STATE Court in "Income Tax".. YOUR ARE NOT as "Taxpayer" by Their Definition. “A person liable for a tax is a person subject to a tax and comes squarely within the definition of a taxpayer in the statute.” Houston Street Corp. vs. Commissioner, 84 F.2d 821, 822 (5th Cir. 1936). YOU ARE NOT Liable for TAX in County nor Township. So? What "VALUATION" has to do with that??? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

@@saleemporter7040 I have threatened to expose the fraud right to their face. They didn’t seem to care. My voice is too small. I have a few properties tax on appeal right now. I want to see the results of the appeal and then I will go public with all of them at once. I want to show my case is not an isolated event. I will have to foia other cases who have recent purchase price and got denied. In the past the best evidence of value was recent purchase. Now they have denied 4 recent purchase of mine. Wonder how many others have been denied. They are broke and need to steal money as much as possible. I want to go on record and say I am not suicidal and will not be epstiened as I expose this massive fraud.

It’s happening everywhere. Even where i live in AL, my property taxes went from $1300 to $1600, which is a 20% increase just in one year. I can bet the real value of my house didn’t go up that much.

They tried taxing residents where I live as no residents more than triple what i was paying. I went the the tax assessors office and there was a line of people with the same issue.they said it was like that every day for this reason. They fixed it weeks later, but I don’t think it was an accident.

Demand is lower because current house owners think their house is a pie in the sky. Every house I like has price that over twice what it was purchased for just past few years. Some just a year or two. I don't remember seeing any part of the country having triple digit growth in housing price in a single year... the listing prices are just ridiculous.

​@@SailorDocwell, they did see massive price growth in 2021, 2022, and part of 2023, and some areas are still seeing a good number of people who are wealthy enough to be convinced to pay these large price increases to get the lifestyle they want now, because they feel they can easily still afford that house and all the annually rosing costs to maintain and even upgrade it over the next 10+ years. Yes, fewer people are still feeling confident in their ability to pay these astronomically increased prices from 2020 prices, but still enough to keep most markets from completely crashing just yet. But for how long??? Stay tuned...

They overestimated our property four thousand dollars this year ,it only cost twenty five dollars to fight this and we use the same attorney every year.they don’t charge if it is correct . @@txmalentx It's hard to calculate when you dont know what variables you will run in to but when I lived in Texas for a while I didnt perceive that the total taxes were significantly different where I moved from but wow was rent high. And I was looking at purchasing a house instead and about fell over backwards when I saw what property taxes would be. Reason why is that is where the majority of revenue comes from. Other states like the one I'm in now have thousands of little taxes so it is not so obvious how much the government costs to support. My opinion is that having 1 big tax is better than 40 little taxes cause it is more efficient. Does not take as much labor to record, collect, and otherwise manage. There is still sales tax on groceries here, I was reallly surprized the first time I went to a grocery store in Texas that there is no grocery tax.

Tax gouging ( before, after, during), insurance gouging, lawfare gouging, medical and agricultural gouging, utilities gouging but inflation is only up 3% really? Yet many haven't had a raise in several years. There are only 16 wake hours per most people, it is not acceptable that anyone should have to work 2 jobs, 8-12 hours per day + with only a few days off, that is way more than any other developed country need from their people.

Listen you people. Stop classifying your home as "real property" or any other stupid commercial term. If there is no commercial business operating out of your home then you should not be paying a property tax. Period. If it is your home, then your property is private and nontaxable. Property tax is based upon the situs of a commercial business. That means, there must be a return associated with the property. If there is no business then there is no return. Your property tax assessor and the county tax commissioner knows this. Schedule an appointment to meet the tax assessor and inquire as to who is signing these returns. The answer will be no one. That is fraud. Make sure you go in there with a bit of knowledge. You need to familiarize yourself with your state constitution and the official code of your state. Pull your city's charter to find their authority for what they are doing. It does not apply to you in the private. The city or the county does not have an ownership interest in your private property. You do. Tax deed sales on private property violate due process and are a product of unlawful conversion, which is a cause of action. You can take these city and county crooks to federal court and have them explain by what authority they are operating under and make sure you sue for damages. A homestead exemption was created to exempt the portion of your home not associated with a business being conducted there. You think about that for a second. Good luck.

There is another fraud in padding pensions. The government employees scratch each others backs by promoting a person two years before they retire so that they get a much larger pension than they deserve. Just met the county assessor at my front door on Wednesday. He advised that the house was not assessed properly when I purchased 2 years ago. He asked to take photos for his assessment. I told him no, and offered to take photos on my phone and email to him. He handled his business card and agreed. He advised of prop 8 and that homeowners should fight and build a case with assessment data. I hired a realtor to build me an appraisal for my property and area. We will be fighting any increase.

No amount of research matters when they are making up property values ... Its so infuriating, i went to an informal protest. They said, if it's not attached to the house it doesn't count towards bringing down the cake of the property, but yet if i add a pool it can affect the value so they can tax me more? Then they say, this is what the house can be listed for ... So i can list my house for 1,000,000 dollars but that doesn't mean that's the value of my house ... So infuriating

I closed on a house October 2023 with an unfinished attic space. I got inspectors in and planned to Finnish the space and homestead my home. I found out after closing the home was over estimated 300 sq feet from the listing in 2016 to the one from my purchase stating the unfinished space was livable (20x15 foot bonus room with pony walls). I caught it well after and now my choice is to sue or eat it as I have finished the space and the sq footage is correct. This was very shady and annoying but I’m going to eat the space loss and chalk it up to learning curve but it was not ok. 2200sq foot to 2500sq foot change but instead I went from 2200sq ft to 2500sq foot on my own dime. Do your own measurements don’t trust anything or anyone!

I live in a very small 2bed 1 bath 900sq ft and my tax went up 48% … I live on 1300 a month w/ no insurance except for car insurance due to 200% increase on insurance, and our electricity tripled .. I’m 70 and don’t know how to survive this. I understand her frustration, and realize we’re bleeding out. HELP!!!

Part of the problem is people are not informed or are too busy or lazy to raise their voice. Even when the time comes to Protest properly taxes most people don't do it so it causes a problem eventually the whole block and the whole neighborhood homes are skyrocketing in "value" so when one or two homeowners want to protest, the county denies your petition because the comparable with other houses is "fair" value according to them... It's just insane the amount of time people have to work just to pay property taxes. I heard stories of $7k or $8k annually tax just for a $400k home, that's almost half the Salary working at the fast food Burger place, and we are not even talking about interest rates or insurance yet. I don't even want to think about higher priced homes.

In my county they were trying to say last year that my home had gone up from $188k to $327k in 4yrs! True the house had gone up in value, but it really had gone up to no more than about $220-240k (I carefully monitor ALL the sales in my neighborhood for proper comps). At present it is now back down to about $200-215k fair value, but I cannot protest this until next year in 2025 as valuations are done every other year by the corrupt county. I intentionally moved from a popular city to a less popular area to avoid this sort of nonsense, but it followed me. It is a nationwide problem.

Its not just the district attorneys, its the lawyers too. They are all members of the bar and they always refer to each other as counselor when they are not. If you expect your pretend lawyer to fight for you, they will tell you "they have to practice law and go before judge so and so in the future" they are impotent by choice.

When we advised against overpaying for real estate NO ONE would listen. I got my license in 2009 so we were trained heavily on how things could go wrong after everything had hit the fan in 2008. Sad that people who have had their homes for a couple decades may be blindsided due to others overpaying even in areas where appraisal boards aren’t fraudulent.

In 2024 we didn’t even receive an email, text or letter about our property taxes in order to protest. They figured they just keep them the same as last year 2023 so they didn’t notify us so that we would not protest them to be lowered because technically values dropped from last year. So they should have been lowered, but they got away with leaving them the same!! Still ripped us off! We could’ve protested them to be lower if they would’ve sent us a notice 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

I live in St Tammany Parish, LA, about 25 miles north of New Orleans. I am in Slidell, LA, but my house is just outside of the city limits of Slidell. I have no city taxes. I do have to pay Parish (County) taxes, but the state of LA has a 75K homestead exemption. That means that you do not pay tax on the 1st 75K of appraised value. When I bought my house in 2019, it was appraised at 145K, but I bought it before they were going to do the new appraisals for the year 2020. I paid 165K for it. I turned 65 in 2020 before they did the new appraisals. At age 65, you can freeze your appraisal value of your property. I froze mine at 145K, which means that as long as i live here, my appraisal will never go above 145K for the value for property taxes. With the 75K homestead exemption, i am only paying taxes on 70K per yr. It can go up slightly for certain milages, but it won't be much. My problem is homeowners insurance. LA is as bad as FL in insurance rates and companies keep leaving the state. I just got a letter that stated that I had to get a new roof or they were cancelling my insurance. There is no other insurace company that would insure my house unless my roof was less than 10 yrs old. I have a 17 yr old roof with 30 yr shingles on it and it has no.problems. My mortgage payment has gone up $500 a mth over the last 5 yrs just for insurance costs in my escrow account. Now, I have to spend 11K to get a new roof or I will be forced to take LA Citizens Property Insurance, which cost twice as much or my mortgage company will buy lender placed insurance on it that cost just as much and only covers the amount that you still owe on your note and no content or liabilty coverage. My house is now valued at 200K. I have a 2.75% interest rate, so no way I am selling it. I am not going to refinance it at over 7% interest to take out inflated equity. I am not taking out a HELOC or home equity loan on inflated equity because once values go down, which they will. I would owe more than my house is actually worth with the inflated home values. I retired in 2021, not planning to pay $500 a mth more for my house note. I have to take the last of my savings to put a roof on this house and hope that I can get my insurance premium lowered or shop for a new insurance company since I will have a new roof. There are very few companies writing new policies in LA right now, even with a new roof. I may have to wait till after hurricane season in November and hope that we dont get hit with a hurricane this year and they may start writing some new policies again. I will be living in this house until I pass away because we will never see interest rates as low as 3% again, in my opinion.

So here’s what’s going to happen. The appraisal values will go down, but the percentage of the appraisal that goes to taxes will increase. So, in the end, government will still get their cash and people will still lose their homes. The only way out is to shrink local government. Don’t forget that taxes are for government services that have also gotten more expensive.

Corruption at its finest! Sorry but governments have grown way to big many of those jobs are not even needed in reality. There budgets are out of control in reality. So excuses for them will only piss people off.
