I got this one a couple months ago and I always noticed it kept trying to spring my monitors up especially my secondary one this helped solve that problem thanks
Totally bummed out. My desk wouldn't take this. You need about 3 to 4 inches of lip on the desk for this to work. I've got an expensive 'traditional' desk. So the drilling holes was out.
they need to make monitor arms that give the same flexibility to a 32 inch monitor bs a 27inch monitor this way we can have 3 32 inch monitors easily maneuvered any way we like, im yet to see an arm like that
They exist, just going to be expensive. Ergotron's heavy duty dual monitor arm costs like $500 if I remember right and the heavy duty triple arm costs more. They are extremely well made but obviously pretty pricey. I believe there are some others but I've only worked with the Ergotrons so I can't say if they are good or not. Edit: I forgot about Monoprices' workstream dual, it's supposed to do 2 x 34 inch screens and costs ~$150. Not as nice as the Ergotron but much nicer on the wallet. Whether it actually does 2 x 34 I don't know but it handles 2 27's fine. There are a couple other stands on Amazon that are around the same price and also say they will do 2 32's but I haven't tried any of those.
I think he means how are they useful when they don’t go fully through the slot… this is why I was searching the web, myself, and was hoping to see how you made use of them. I’m still not too clear on how I can use usb cables that can’t extend anywhere. May be an obvious answer for you but not to some (me)
I just googled it. So @rolfio it is called a USB3 which has male and female slots. It is an extension, basically. One side receives a normal USB cable allowing you to extend your USB cord as needed.
