We lost Shockwave and its legendary driver today at Battle Creek. Chris Darnell was by all means an amazing showman who even with a machine that would make it hard to be humble, was one chilled-out nice guy. The Airshow world will never forget his showman spirit and the machine he handled so well.

Thanks for sharing this with the audience and my Condolences for the Darnell Family,This is what people want to see at airshows and this was an absolute crowd pleaser,when the Jet truck is performing with Chris at the controls everyone comes to the flight line to see this great guy and truck making his run,This never gets old ❤ 💙 💜 Rest In Peace 🙏.

I would've thought it would have been heavier than 7 thousand. At least heavier than a regular tractor. But instead they actually shaved more than a little weight OFF of a regular tractor.
