The only critique I have for reactors like this is don’t talk about how many bars someone in the cypher had when you don’t get them . He only said that about ctc verse but other than that you don’t have to know everything to enjoy it
It's because some of these bars go hard and when he reacts to that bar its obvious he didnt get it. Its like they said in the 2019 reaction to scrus reaction that he knows when to punch in for the content

What I like about scru is that he judges the rappers based on their attitude, flow more then trying to decipher the references. I like the honesty he puts out that he doesn't know pokemon but can still read the energy and marvel at the technic.
Look I love shofu and the crew, but they kept saying he didn’t get a bad, when scru even said he really o it knows gen 1 from BACK In the day. He just appreciates the flows, and can tell when there is a punchline, even if he doesn’t get the full punchline, he appreciates it. They need to lay off him “not getting” the bar
He wasn't lying though. At that point, Yee was the only one that was spitting a traditional rap verse that just happened to include Pokemon bars. Everyone else was just making Pokemon puns.

I mean he's true though, there were people on their that aren't actual rappers. There are a lot of poke tubers on this one that don't do music. He didn't say that in the 2020 one.

According to shofu, shizzy's initial verse on the 2019 cypher wasn't good. So shofu and shizzy ended up doing a duet on the cypher. And shofus initial verse was amazing but because shizzy verse was so bad, they had to scrap shofus verse so shizzy could live😂
