I'd like to see stats on this. I felt like the umps were incredibly accurate for every game I watched. Whatever they were doing for the WBC, they need to extend that to the MLB. No pitch clock, no bad umps. It was all so refreshing.

But while Ichiro was a superstar, I feel like we never had a Japanese player in any kinds of sports that dominates and impacts the sports that they are playing to a level where people start to regard them not only as that Japanese goat but also as the goat for their sports until Shohei.
