We look at what function the various coloured lenses perform...the purpose of shooting glasses is to help us see the target in greater definition...and of course the safety aspect.
Roger,my daughter is 14 and is a fine Trap shooter, I encourage her to watch your videos, they have helped me alot, and personally believe that you keep it simple,to the point and not alot of "filler" that would just confuse her,she is still learning and we appreciate what you do,Thanks agian!
Roger Pace She is doing better than me! our club is also pleased to see the young lady doing well and enjoying herself, and encourage her thru praise and genously giving her flats of Ammo,1oz AA's! (hands off Dad) thanks agian and luck with you.
Michael...I have to admit that I have not worried about upgrading my shooting glasses for a very long time...I have 3 pairs of beretta glasses at about $50 each..they are yellow ( which i never use) rose and a purply rose . Every where i shoot they use orange fluoros ...if the day is dim i use rose ...if the day is bright i use the purply ones...i like the purply ones because they give you a "quiet eye" every thing is subdued and the eye picks up the movement very quickly. There are some good shots around who don't use glasses at all. Thanks for watching!!!
I don't know if i've done one specifically on hearing protection...i've just mentioned it briefly in some videos...i just use the moulded ear plugs...where they syringe in the stuff in your ears and after a few minutes they take it out and coat it...thanks for watching!
Hey Roger, i like your straightforward style, keep the videos coming mate. Those glasses frames look a bit poundland. Not what i would have expected from Beretta.
Yes...my glasses are a bit bottom shelf...my mate has a set that he doesn't use...I'm trying to get him to lower his price...his are much better...stay well and thanks for watching!!!
hi roger i have come up for an idea of your next video... You should do a video about what gun and gun size is good for a 12 year old trap shooter, because there are a lot of kids getting into the shooting sports...THANKS ADAM....STAY WELL ROGER...
Question; What if you are already a glass wearer more over bifocal wearer? Mine are clear lenses no tinting. By the way; I love your videos. They are the best, simplest, clearest and the most understandable, especially for a person who did not shot a shotgun for the last 50 years and just now bought one again and plans to start shooting sporting clays
Lajos...some optometrists do prescription lenses with tinting...wishing you much enjoyment on your return to shooting...sporting clays is a hard gig ...i've tried it a couple of times...but i just stick with down the line...good on you and thanks!!!
I wear prescription glasses 🤓 & have found only yellow over X shooting glasses maybe I can get an over X glasses in orange color & purple in a regular sunglasses that aren’t particularly shooting glasses ?
Hope all is well. Any new videos in the pipeline? You should use different thumbnails for each video so specific ones are easier to find should people want to look them up. If you have different clothes on in every thumbnail, it will be a lot easier to recognise them.
They are difficult to choose but they are very important...if i had to have only one pair of glasses they would be the reddish/rose colour...that's all i really ever use...if its really bright then i might use purples...good luck!!!
