7-24 excellent Video for my wife , who is a new shooter . She does very well with her 380 EZ performance . She loves the gun but can’t seem to stay consistent during her practice sessions . Thank you !
Julie, I watch your videos the day before going to the range, and I ask my friends to do the same. Your safety videos and then foundational advice, starting with grip & stance, are a staple before touching a pistol in my house.
Your instruction is excellent. Check out 2;06 where the girl in the sample has her elbows LOCKED right after you said we are NOT to do this. THank you for this.
Love S&W pistols...they became an addiction. M&Ps better and better over last decade. Love my revolvers too. So happy to have some new/reintroduced K frames.
THANKS!! I had RSOs at my range tell me to do certain things and I never put it all together till I saw this video. NOW! I need to hit the range and turn this into muscle memory! 😉😉😉
I started with the grip the way you show and had a range instructor tell me the I should cup the bottom with my non dominate hand but it never felt right. I am glad to see I wasn't wrong in my way and it feels more comfortable. Now if it wasn't so expensive to shoot at the last call ranges I could practise more. Waiting for them to open national park land to shoot for free. Ought to be military no charge to keep comfortable with their guns. I carry everyday
Same here. I was taught in the Army basically what Julie was explaining here, and I was at a range when the instructor helping the couple in the next long tried calling me out, saying my grip and stance were shit. I told him I'm shooting, not holding a tea-cup at a garden club.
Could you include info on your revolver shooting, include of course finger placement. By the way, I also shoot left handed. Thank you for a fascinating overview!
Thank you for the lesson I am currently looking to purchase my first firearm and I have been to the range a few times and your videos help me decide which firearm I would like I aiming towards glock or canik
Like the stances, but I'm a revolver shooter, where your thumb (left) is will get partially burned or damaged near the wheel of a revolver.. your exercise must be for the semi auto guns.. but I will look into another video for my kind of gripping for a revolver...but thanks for the stance and arm training
How do I help my Girlfriend Have more control on her Pistol? Don't get me wrong She is very very Skilled. But she lives in NY, and she does have a carry permit in NY. but she can't just go outside and shoot like I can. Would a laser training system help her?
This is excellent. I hurt my back, and i'm old and less strong. THings I'm learning in Phys Therapy are similar to what you are doing, ankle.knee bend, butt-out, back stratight. and the rest of it - i can't wait to try. With the pandemic, I haven't shot at all for about a year at least. i went to the club, and shot my .22 semi. ho hum, NP. but when i grabbed my Glock 21 (45c) it was awful - couldn't control recoil, even completely missed the target a few times. I got the glock grandfathered, so I have a 10+1 and 13+1. I empties the 13+1 and shot so badly, that i didn't even shoot the second. Like most responsibe gun owners, safety is # 1 with me. I vowed I wouldn't shoot the G21 until I took a lesson from someone who knows glock 21's. But thanks to you and your vid, I can pull it out practice while trying your technique a few times. Then off to the club to give it a go again. Thanks so much. Badass. :) will let you know how it goes.
I will not stand like that shoulder width you got for 60 magnum, knocking down power you got to stand, fighting Stan bad for those who never did any martial arts you don’t know or training in special tactics
