Tonight, Portsmouth police are investigating a shooting. It happened at Essex Food Store on High Street just before 2:30 this afternoon. Store employees told police they got into a fight with a man who tried to take items from the store. Police did not say if the man or an employee got hurt or how they're doing tonight. We’ll let you know as soon as we learn more.
