I'm glad to see people starting to pick one up. Not a lot of people really know about this camera. Some say that this is a great portraiture camera but honestly with the way it's built it's good for everything. It's heavy af but not as heavy that it's unusable and you feel the lactic acid build up in your arms.
I absolutely loved this episode. Those photos are so great. I have the rz67 but I haven’t used it in a while. This is making me reconsider using it again. Great video.
hey just got a rz67 do you know if the manual winder on the film back gets spun if it'll wind the film before you've taken the shot? in other words if i haven't taken a shot and i accidentally spin the manual winder on the film back does it stop me from advancing the film? thanks!
It's so hard to focus with the RZ67; just got a roll back and I would definitely recommend getting the prism viewfinder for it if you're shooting portraits.
curious with the 800 speed film, and max shutter on these cameras (isn't it 1/500?) what apertures you tended to be shooting at in these shots. Also what lens were you using?
it's 1/400 shutter speed is the max . But don't worry about that too much. you can overexpose color negative film by 3-4 stops and still retain nice, well balanced highlights
