Love your work and love your videos. I can feel your passion for your work through the way you articulate ideas and information. It's so refreshing to see videos like this made by women. I am forever RU-vid deep-diving, looking for female photographers to watch and I'm so glad I found your channel 🙌🏼
E100 is my crack! Next roll try two things. 1) try using a modern film camera like a Nikon F100 or a Canon EOS Elan 7 as the light meters in these cameras just make shooting slide film easy. 2) consider using warming filters. mid day light with a blue sky has very blue (cold) light and using something like an 81a 81b 81c etc can warm the light to bring the colours back in line with the colour profile of the film. Slide film is VERY rewarding.
Trevor Sowers Thank you so much for the advice !! I’ll def have to try those warming filters. Usually the meter in my minolta x-700 works fine I just forgot to change the battery 😪
@@NatSegebre OK give it a go. When I use the evaluative meters in my EOS 1V I barely give exposure a second thought with E100 and Velvia 50 and they work out well. Check out my Flickr to see some samples www.flickr.com/photos/44148197@N07/
Great work, and excellent explanations of everything, too. I love slide film and wish I could shoot everything on it, too. There are few things more fun than watching light come through a perfect slide for the first time. :)
@@NatSegebre You're welcome! :) I hope it can get popular enough that we can get another slide film option soon. But speaking of, you should look into Velvia 100 when you can.
Amazing photos! I love how imperfect slide films are. They have an ethereal look to them. Just subscribed! I hope you can shoot more ektachrome in the future!
Hey! These photos are so stunning 😭 I was just wondering what light meter app you normally use? So many of my photos come out overexposed, and I figured I should use a light meter to help lol
