Bought a mini 14 about 5 years ago, so its the 586 series stainless. Was surprised to find out from shooting, that heavier 77 grain match bullets grouped the best out of it. 55 grain, not so much. Not sure if thats true in other minis, but thats what i found out in the one i have.

How much difference between your 1999 & my 1976 is there . I know they made changes to them , but was there something noticeable . You have some nice firearms yourself . I did make a video 3 months ago with my Ruger .44 Carbine & my .44 Mag Ruger Super Blackhawk . I appreciate you watching and commenting
@milsurprifleguy7091 I didn't see much difference. Mine does have the machined scope mounts really the only change. Mine also marked .223 Rem. I'll never part with Mine. Great week !!!
