The problem with fake patina is that it looks and feels like fake patina. This thing is no exception! 🤮 The weathering is overdone and looks unnatural. It’s like when a character is rendered in AI no matter how realistic someone thinks it looks the eyes always give it away. The only way to get realistic weathering is to literally expose the truck to the elements and let Mother Nature do the job.

Can you do us a final timelapse from start to finish for this build? Would make a great recap of all your work imo.

With all of the "rust," it looks like it's crying. I appreciate your work, skills and talent, but you've covered up actual patina with fake patina. Maybe if you misted the top surfaces with a matte finish it would look a bit more authentic, but this just looks like a really well thought out wrap. Like you said, it's your truck/car amd you do what you want, so I'm glad it makes you happy. That's what matters.

Simply, it looks amazing!!! More than great, I definitely hated the farm truck look with the actual patina but does look like a show truck now even when you didnt do it as so! If only you could change rims to something matching a work truck than those crown vic/ Mercury rims that would be awesome... cant wait to see it all complete! Complete 💯✅

might be a nice idea to get one of those cheape tubframe party tents with the side you can zip intoo the roof section , you can set that at the rearexit of youre shop under the overhead crane and have some extra space to work mostly out of the sun , it will allso allow you to keep freshly painted cars out of the sun and protected against folage falling on it , the overhead crane can help keeping it in place bit adhd arent y.....SQUIRREL the paintsceme is nicely done though the way the truck looks now it would only look in real life if it was driven off the showroom floor and driven out in a field and left there for 20 years or so , there need to be a few paintchips and scratches in the paint , like under the trailerhook where the trailer bumped intoo the rear and the chains dangled against the bumper a rash where material has been dragged across the edge of the bed and hit the front of the bed divits on the side of the truck where stuff (thing a junkyard engine block on a tire sitting in the back) rolled against it , not just a small dent but allso a little bare and rusted metal , might actually put an old engine in the back and drive around with it rattling around (then put clearcoat over the bare metal) its been a worktruck after all c8.alamy.com/comp/2C85APB/colse-up-to-decay-and-rust-on-the-front-bumper-of-an-old-white-truck-rust-hole-on-old-worn-painted-metal-surface-2C85APB.jpg
