In case of tornado, don't walk towards it. Don't lie down in front of it for a rest. Don't keep it secret and not tell anyone else. Tell someone and keep safe
That is the worst place to be during one in my opinion, if it were hit there would be screws and tools flying all over making high speed projectiles. It could cause severe injury or death.
I've worked in a Lowe's home improvement store during really violent storms and when the wind picks up, the doors do fly open by themselves. Also, rain usually floods the entrance at this point, and anything that doesn't have much weight is sent swooshing down the aisle!
nice! FYI though that was NOT lightning that flashed ad mentioned in this report. that was actually a "power flash" as the tornado hit power lines and transformers exploded
jon seena I said the same thing. then i moved to texas and went through one and it was horrifying. I hated it so much. I was only thinking that i was going to die
T-Rex9000 pray and send help for this poor tornado 🙏🙏😁 #tornadojustwantsajob (I honestly don't think that's a real hashtag so please do not take it seriously)
Eva Sandoval I never said it was funny all I said was that I was confused when they said jersey cause i never saw/ heard about this and i live there :/
EXOTIC BUTTERS the heatwave is insane tho. Switzerland has reached temperatures of 38 degrees celcius, what is very VERY unusual. Sweden is way warmer than itbusually is to. But now the rain has hit italy and parts of switzerland and is causing flooding. Mother nature is wild asf rn
Until this stops being a "black" thing you better believe this is an all people thing. You need to get off your ass and go out and make an educated difference.
I remember this twister and we were in our van driving home when this happened. It lasted a couple minutes and then it stopped. A lot of trees were down and a ton of ice but we were okay :P
I live in New Jersey and tornados really never happen but when they do it does no damage its not strong enough to do any damage and that tornado happened a few days ago near my town.
My dad used to work at a local Home Depot near me and there was a tornado that touched down near by and he was in the break room with some customers and he told me he could feel the concrete wall behind him shaking and it sounded like a freight train passing by
Since this was New Jersey, there should have been a basement. That would be the safest place to ride out a tornado. The first rule is STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. These crazies could have been sucked right up when the doors blew open and the tornado jumped over the building! I too like excitement, but this type I'll experience from a distance.
CRYSTAL:) I know what you mean. I grew up in Connecticut and had the same experience...nada. Now that I am in Florida they decided to start having tornadoes but nothing like this, little baby ones that jump back and forth across the street. Once again I have not seen it up close. I'm not like those crazy weather chasers. I was safe at home watching like the few "normal " people on TV. lol
We get them in Texas all the time. There have been 18 tornadoes to touch down in the multiple counties in East Texas in one night. I have been around tornadoes that have been a couple blocks from where I work in Dallas and next to me Colleyville another time just 1 mile away from where I live. I'm used to them. But just remember to get in a bathroom or storm shelter or basement when a tornado comes. Tornadoes come out of wall clouds.
Home Depot: National Weather Service issued a Tornado Warning. Please seek shelter and cover your head. Thank you! Tornado: WAIT, you're hiring? Thanks! i'll take it. Man: *grabs his phone and starts recording*
I'd be that one kid laughing to herself because that's the most fun she's ever had, thinking of all the destruction, seeing the cars fly by, I need help don't I?
I feel like if a tornado touches down I feel like I’m just launching off into the air in an airplane legit like in a airplane “ TAKE OFF!!!” and tornado “TOUCH DOWN” *grabs football spikes it*
People were killed in the home depot in Joplin..including a father and his 2 small children..and Wal-Mart..those stores aren't as sturdy as they may look...just a huge hollow block.
