We go shopping for baby boy's first few outfits and we end up with a mini haul! We got a few more things than we expected but since we don't have many clothes for a baby boy, we will definitely need them! The girls picked out a few special things for their brother, and they can't wait for him to be here! After shopping, we started a Christmas list for the girls so that we can get some ideas for what they want!

I'll never forget my son crying when he got the baby sister he wanted. When I asked him what was wrong, he said, "I thought she was going to play with me." He expected a miniature playmate-- poor guy!

My brother asked to return me for another one! 🤣🤣🤣 Turns out my Mom and Dad were watching a 2yr old (same age as my brother) boy for about 6mo while his Dad figured out life after losing his wife (the boy's mom) to an allergic reaction while out to eat. So my brother was VERY used to having a kiddo his age. I think he believed my Mom was going to pop out a 2year old for him! 🤣🤣🤣 Don't worry, we are good now. Nearly 4 decades on with our sibling journey. 💙😊💗

Its fun to shop for new stuff. Do not feel bad for being excited and maybe buying more than you intended. A baby is a joy, and it is very easy to get caughed up in all the excitement. But babies do use a lot of clothes. They can chnge clotes many times a day due to various fluids and solids 😅 so it is good to have enough clothes 👶🏻

I am expecting my 6th child, and my second daughter and its so exciting!! We are finally getting to buy all the pink and floral stuff, my last 3 babies have been boys and I enjoyed preparing for them but I missed buying the tiny girly things especially since my daughter is turning 9 and more in a phase where she prefers more neutral colors and the basic things instead of girly things.

I haven’t had little ones to buy clothes for since my niece and nephew were little. And they’re both in their 30’s now-with no kids! But sometimes I still walk through the baby department just to look at the adorable outfits!

A tip from my mom: My mom had me and my sister before our brother and one big thing she noticed that was different is that boys are slower when hitting the milestones. In general boys are slower than girls so if that happens, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Obviously trust your gut if you think something is wrong but just keep that in mind. There might not be something wrong with him if he's developing mentally slower.

Growing up I wanted to help clean so much but my mother wouldn't let me help she would tell me that I didn't know what to do, it would take too long for me to help, and I would mess things up. So by the time she wanted me to do chores I was so scared to even attempt them that I would fight her on doing them. She would get so upset and she never understood how she is the reason I acted that way.

We’re going with a woodland dragon theme for our nursery. We’re having a surprise so wanted something that would suit a boy or a girl. And my husband is big on dragons. There are some adorable baby dragon murals on Etsy that are perfect for nurseries

I remember I got my daughter ready for school years ago when she was in elementary, I walked her to the bus stop & we waited over 30 minutes by ourselves before I realized it was a teacher work day lol. By the way the girls are beautiful & getting big fast 🤗

If you want super soft Pterodactyl/Dinosaur in general soft toys, I recommend Jelly Cat if you get them in America. They're so amazing for kids and they come in different colours. (You can also get dragons)

Suggestion for the in-laws. Tell them to get 0-3 months or 3-6 months. My daughter stayed tiny for forever but all 3 of my boys have grown out of their clothes before their ages. Currently my 10 month old is in 18 months. Not because he is super tall or anything. It's the chubby thighs and broader chest.

I don't get why you have to exclude certain colours or styles because you're having a boy. It's predetermining how he has to be. I think it's important to be aware of this when making choices. Let yourself be free of social conventions, it's much healthier and freeing. Love your family and vlogs. Congratulations on your baby! ❤️

Awwww so cute Paige wanting same as Micah. Why not get girls a baby doll (tht has bottle, dummy n nappy) each for Christmas as u can show them how to do things like hold baby, u could get one crib n one high chair so there can learn with doll before his in ur arms. Things may be out of season for when he is first born, but you can always buy the size he’ll need when this season rolls around again. Also remember how quickly they grow, so don’t buy excessive amounts of newborn clothes.

You want great deals on baby clothes n greatttttt prices where you can get double the amount go to Walmart. And the boy clothes are so stinking cute at Walmart. The colors are so nice bright fun a lot of dino n other stuff. And doesn't matter about season. Don't shoo by that shop by what they have now. And he is a winter baby so you need winter clothes. And get spring clothes in spring.

Hi guys when I had my first boy after 6 girls I found that I actually loved having him in little pants and shirts like a little man not zippered onesies it was a very compelling desire after never liking my girls in little pants outfits till they could start learning to walk/stand themselves up.
